In any case the Flying Avocado wrap I had contained roast turkey, Gouda, romaine, tomato, avocado and hummus. It was delicious. My daughter had a delightful vegetarian salad and my wife ate a delicious Mediterranean chicken kabob bowl. They both drank water and then finished with chocolate chip cookies. I drank a draft IPA.
We sat outside on their covered patio and enjoyed the spring weather and though the restaurant is a little far from our house in Pflugerville, I’m sure we will be back.

“My wife and I went without a reservation recently and were seated right away. The food is delicious and so fresh. I enjoyed the variety of selection on the salad bar and hot bar. The Brazilian cheese bread is addictive! On top of that, the service is spectacular. Our water was never empty and our plates always cleared. The manager, Mario, also made sure we were treated well. “Just completed a tour of the Central Texas Barbecue Scene. Visited Snow's BBQ-Lexington, Louie Mueller-Taylor, Kreus Market, Smitty's and Black's-Lockhart, The Salt Lick- Driftwood and Franklin's in Austin. It was great seeing the venues and the family history at these historic sites. I visited Franklin's in the past and felt it was the best brisket I had ever eaten in my life. I am a skeptic when it comes to famous barbecue joints. I must say that Franklin's BBQ was far superior to all of the restaurants I visited with no one even a close second. Aaron's attention to detail from the service, choice of briskets, the cook, the wrap, the holding and even the slicing of the final product is evident in every aspect of his trade. I was lucky enough to run into him at the restaurant and he happily talked BBQ with me. Franklin's may not have the long history of muti-generational BBQ in Central Texas, but he has figured it all out at a level that I have yet to see equaled by the best venues in the country. This is a bucket list restaurant for those who really enjoy BBQ. It is well worth the wait in line“

“I reserved online for my daughter’s birthday and got into town an hour earlier and they still were able to accommodate us. At the table with the menus was a birthday card with a really nice and meaningful note on the inside. Staff, drinks, and food were amazing! Definitely recommend checking this place out.“
