“Probably one of the most filling and delicious poke bowls in Austin! I ordered a strong bowl and honestly for the price, it was a great deal. This bowl could easily feed 2 people. They served the bowl "subway/chipotle" style where you go up to the counter and go through the line choosing what you like. There were so many options to choose from and they def fill the bowl. The volcano tuna was my favorite. The spicy seaweed salad was amazing! I would definitely come back. Staff was nice and patient. They also have boba!“

“My wife and I had the best experience here for my birthday lunch, I'm so glad we chose this restaurant to eat at while in town for the Austin FC match! I can't say enough about the staff and the owner Joel who went out of his way to be extremely kind to us. Not to mention the food and drinks were so good. We'll definitely be back!“

“Franklin definitely deserves 7 stars but with Google Map’s limited thinking, I can only put 5 stars. Absolutely the best bbq I had in Austin! Will recommend to line up at least an hour before they open. I got there on a Wednesday at 10:45am and had to line up at the edge of their parking lot. Wait time to get food was 1.5 hours. Briskets with half lean and fat and ribs were killer items. I personally found the sausage pretty mediocre. The pickles were not special at all. Wished they give out freshly baked sourdough bread instead of wonder breads. They offer 4 sauces and all were good match to the food. Definitely will revisit in future trips.“

“Amazing beer selection! The food and live band were delicious. You can hopefully score free parking on the streets but very difficult to find an available spot. We parked in the garage and it was expensive. It nice to walk around lots of bars and food trucks all around.“

“Only next level Japanese dining enthusiasts would be able to immediately recognize that they have chosen well. If you are lucky enough to discover the Happy Hour menu then you’ve hit the jackpot. Do yourself a favor and go because ain’t nobody have dry aged fish! What?!? Yes this separates Lucky Robot from the rest of the Japanese places in Austin. Put it on the bucket list folks!“

“For our bachelor party in Austin, we decided to switch gears from the traditional Texan BBQ scene and opted for some Japanese cuisine at Uchi. Initially hesitant about finding top-notch sushi in Texas, I was pleasantly surprised by the impeccable quality of fish and craftsmanship on display here. While the prices may lean towards the higher end and the portions are modest (as is customary with fine dining), the food quality and ambiance are truly unbeatable. Our waiter, who was nothing short of exceptional, guided us through the menu with expert recommendations. He even treated us to a delightful surprise--wagyu nigiri (which we devoured and I totally forgot to document)--knowing it was a special occasion for our bachelor party. For larger groups like ours, I highly recommend going the à la carte route rather than opting for omakase. Not only do you get more value for your money, but you also have full control over your dining experience. We indulged in a variety of cuts of fish, unagi nigiri, wagyu nigiri, shishito peppers, salad, and mapo tofu. To cap off our feast, we indulged in some tapioca and candy bar desserts, which we inhaled in record time. In the heart of Texas, Uchi stands as a testament to the diversity and excellence of the Austin dining scene. Try it out - you won't regret it! Tip: I recommend making a reservation before visiting to ensure you secure a spot at this gem of a place.“

“Reservation in downtown Austin, wedding anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised at the table with a card & rose petals scattered around it. All staff were very professional but especially our waiter CHARLIE! Food was impressive. Ambiance was classic steakhouse. Wait staff were well trained. Five stars.“

“Top notch pizza and suds. Bring the whole family, a friend, or sulk at the bar by yourself. No matter how you do Pinthouse, it's always going to do your right. (I've been to all of their locations, and none of them are houses, so thats a little misleading)“

“Amazing food! Every dish we tried was DE-LICIUOS! Wait staff and hosts are lovely people. Atmosphere and vibe is warm and inviting here. My only suggestion for this restaurant is that they turn the volume down on the music. It really is WAY TOO loud. Other than that, visit often so that you can try the entire menu!“

“This was a suggested location by the local bomb squad and man was it the BOMB! Great set up and outside atmosphere. The owner/operators were fantastic, happy to see us and offer opinions for 1st timers. The brisket and sausage were the best I've hade in all my Texas travels and will be back again when even close to the area.“

“I am new to Austin and am lucky enough to live a stone's throw away from Manolis. We have gone 5 times since moving so it's finally time for a review! Manolis is genuinely my favorite spot in Austin. First, they have a wonderful variety of sweet treats. From ice cream (dairy and non dairy), to pastries, sorbets, milkshakes, and coffee, there is truly something for everyone. Everything we have ordered has been absolutely delicious. Second is the service. There are few places I have been where I feel more welcome than Manolis. They are passionate about what they serve and make every person who comes through feel like a regular. The owners are genuinely some of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting in Austin and they deserve business. Third is the location! Can be tough to get around the 290 construction but Manolis is worth every minute of your time. The complex has covered picnics tables, heaters, games, and a playground. It's cozy, charming, and a great place to sit on a beautiful night. If you are on the southwest side, GO TO MANOLIS. If you live in Central Texas, GO TO MANOLIS. Heck, if you live in Oklahoma, it's worth the trip. They are open Friday-Sunday and I look forward to their tasty treats all week. I will support this business for as long as I live here!“

“This place was so wonderful that we ate here two days in a row. The staff are the shining star of this restaurant. They were all extremely accommodating, prompt and friendly. They are the only restaurant in Austin that we had a great experience with…,the other restaurants were run by employees who clearly could have cared less about their customers. I highly recommend everyone check this place out.“

“Where to begin with this bastion of pie. You can not go wrong with any of the specialty pies, the honey pear with its sweet and savory pairing of pears plus prosciutto, topping it with a drizzle of honey To the shroomin goat with goat cheese, mushrooms and garlic. The pairings might sound like they don't work but they are all delicious. If you're not feeling so adventurous they have classics such as pepperoni and basil or margherita All New York style thin with the best crust in the game. Then you get to the vast selection of beers they brew themselves and plenty of other locals they sell. If you're feeling an ipa the electric jellyfish is a hazy, hoppy glass of goodness. If you're not feeling an ipa they have many styles to satisfy your thirst. The staff is friendly if not rushed sometimes since it's a popular spot and it is more often packed out. Inside is communal bench seating if that's your thing and you want to be a social butterfly, who knows you might just find a best friend or the love of your life over a slice of pie and a cold beer.“

“Ok. You NEED to come here! We were scouring Austin area to find some good food after a museum trip. The service ALONE was reason enough to come back. They legit treat you like family the minute you walk in. The food was delicious: catfish Poboy, crabcake, red beans and rice, corn dogs for kids. Every single thing was incredible, fulllll of flavor and came out in 10 minutes. We also had an old fashioned. Deliciously made, and GREAT price!!! Trust me, this is worth the visit! No servers but people continually come up to check on you, self serve water. We will be back EVERY time we visit Austin!!“

“We were blown away by this place! Service was outstanding, but the food was next level. We ordered the salad, shishito peppers and nuts for an appetizer and then came the smash burgers. Everything was so good! We finished our meal with the best carrot cake any of us have ever had. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!“

“The staff are great and so very friendly! The atmosphere is beautiful and pleasant, with plenty of large trees and flower beds. There is lots of space to spread out and plenty of outdoor seating with tables. Indoor seating too. Very clean! 4 food trucks are there with tacos, Thai, bbq/biscuits, and American fare. They also have pastries from SourDuck, which are very good. “I ate here while in town for Afrotech! I started with the Sunomono Salad (Cucumber, green onion, crab stick, octopus, radish sprouts, sesame seeds with ponzu sauce). I then had two rolls: 1. Who’s Your Daddy? (no rice) (Deep fried crab, cooked shrimp, cream cheese with special sauce); 2. I Love Tuna (in: spicy Tuna, cucumber out: Blue fin Tuna, green onion sauce: Garlic ponzu, green onion, masago) EVERYTHING was amazingly good, the staff was very friendly, efficient, and ensured you had a great dining experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“Seriously the best subs I've found in Austin! We ordered the turkey sub and Italian sub and both were so good it's hard to say what the favorite was. I actually love that the Italian comes with mayo not oil/vinegar. The lettuce is shred so thinly as it should be. The bread has a slight crisp and wasn't too bready at all. Perfection! The pizzas pretty good too.“

“I have only tried the pastrami, but I plan on coming back tomorrow after that amazing experience. I went with the small fries, extra sauce on the side, and ketchup for the fries. The fries were perfectly salted and everything was hot when I picked the order up. I’m from California (only visiting), but that may have been the best vegan sandwich I’ve ever had, and California has some good ones.“
