Manchaca Springs Saloon Bar • $
737 Farm to Market 1626, Manchaca

“This place has a lot of potential. It’s a cool environment- kinda funky. I’ve never seen over thirty people in there though. Got a big outside area. It’s just down Manchaca. Not too far from the bars that started getting crazy recently (Armadillo, Moontower, SABG) yet still that chill. Like I said- lots of potential. It’s cool right now regardless.“

Nonetheless, the food was good and drinks were great too. One suggestion would be to combine the olive plate with the cheese board and just add a few bucks to the cheese board. There was only one piece of cheese on the board but it was, in fact, delicious. Guess it was meant to be the star of the show! The burger was good. It was a unique take on the classic burger. “Met the woman of my life at this coffee shop. We sat outside and were the only ones. The atmosphere was fantastic. My future girlfriend loved the coffee so much that she asked me if she could have a second one. I loved the coffee as well and got one for her and for myself. We talked for over an hour and the ambiance made it even better. I will always remember the place where I met my now fiance. It holds a very special place in my heart, and I'm glad I picked this coffee shop.“

“Unlimited play on 150 games for $12? What's not to like? (except "the 'gourmet' pizza that looked like it was on tortillas and it was an insult to my eyes", according to my wife). A great place for the family, co-workers, friends, or date night. I actually did all four, arriving with my wife and my co-worker friend and her family. Some awesome things they do: they offer $20 for the month. they offer 21+ only at 8pm. they offer select-your-own flights of ciders they have tables for drinks near some games. What I hated (and worth a star deduction): the air hockey, skeeball, and basketball hoops don't keep score. How can I rub it in the faces of those around me I'm the golden god, a five star man, better than everyone, that I'm smart (you're dumb), I'm big (you're little), I'm right (you're wrong), without proper scorekeeping? my personal notes on games: 1. I got high score in Frogger and Super Mario Bros. (look for nez) 2. The games I missed most: crazy climber, pac-land, major havoc, mario tennis, arkanoid, and star wars, plus pinball games like metallica, xenon, space invaders, high speed. It has a great under used patio with river views. they nailed the drinking and playing part- I think they should focus on making it a food destination so people stay for lunch or dinner, but use the patio, like a make-your-own pizza with a monitored wood oven, or cook your own burger, with bocce ball courts or even a dog park and a waterslide and a small Target. as of 4/24: 10-yard fight, 1943, aero fighters, after burner, alien covenant, alien syndrome, altered beast, area 51 maximum force, bad dudes, batman racer, berzerk, big buck world, blades of steel, bubbles, capcom vs snk, centipede, cowboys of moo mesa, crazy taxi, crime fighters, cruisin' blast, dance revolution, dark silhouette silent scope 2, death ball, defender, die hard arcade, domescreen dogfight mach storm, domino man, donkey kong, donkey kong 3, donkey kong jr., dragon spirit, galaga, ghost busters, ghosts n' goblins, gorf, gravitar, guitar hero, hammerin harry, heavy barrel, in the groove, indiana jones, invasion, jack the giant killer, joust, jubeat, jurassic park raw thrills, kick-man, killer queen, instinct k1/k2, klax, kung-fu master, last duel, mai-mai, mappy, mario bros., megaman, mini golf (arcade game), missile command, mortal kombat 3 ultimate, mr. do, mr. driller, ms. pac-man, naughty boy, p.o.w., pac-man battle royale, pengo, point blank 2, police trainer, popeye, punch-out, the punisher, q* bert, r-type, reactor, robocop, robotron, road runner, snow bros, sonic the hedgehog, soul calibur iii, sound voltex, splat, stargate, star wars return of the jedi, street fighter 2, street fighter alpha 3, sunset riders, super zaxxon, tapper, tetris, tekken 5, terminator salvation, time crisis 5, tron, two tigers, v'ball, virtua tennis, vs excitebike, wacca, war: final assault, world series '99, x-men, and zero gunner, plus pinball: avengers: infinity quest, batman, deadpool, godzilla, guns n' roses, jurassic park, kiss, led zeppelin, mandalorian le, monster bash, nascar, ninja turtles, rush, star trek, and stranger things which goes up to 11. Note: Yelp removed all of the capital letters from my review. I'm not kidding. I had to come in and put them back in.“

“I visited Lulu's during the Latin Food Festival. They were offering the cantarito with the purchase of a palomita. The tequila pour was a little light. It tasted more of soda than tequila but a refreshing drink nonetheless during a hot day. The live music upstairs was amazing and really set the tone for a fun food, music, and cultural festival. I look forward to coming back to Lulu's for their free salsa and bachata lessons on Sundays.“

From the moment we stepped through the doors, it was evident that this establishment prides itself on exemplary service and a commitment to ensuring every guest has an unforgettable time.First and foremost, we must extend our heartfelt gratitude to Katie, the brilliant event planner at San Jac Saloon. She effortlessly transformed our vision into reality, and her dedication to ensuring every aspect of our event was perfect did not go unnoticed. From coordinating the menu to accommodating last-minute requests, Katie truly went above and beyond to exceed our expectations.Of course, none of this would have been possible without the exceptional co-owner and manager, Matt. From the moment we arrived, Matt made it his mission to ensure our evening was nothing short of spectacular. His warm hospitality and genuine care for his guests made us feel like royalty, and we knew we were in good hands every step of the way.The bartending staff at San Jac Saloon also deserves a special mention, particularly Bree, whose talent behind the bar is truly unmatched. With Matt and Katie at the helm, along with their dedicated team of professionals, you can rest assured that your event will be nothing short of extraordinary.
