“Great drinks and good food, what's not to like here. Plenty of HH options and really nice space with excellent customer service. Def get the burger and the daiquiri, good combo. We also had the risotto with squash from the garden. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and parking in the neighborhood via streets, can be difficult to find a spot.“

The Dead Rabbit also does coffee in the morning starting at 7am - their tiramisu coffee is a must have. Great food- their sliders are delicious. “Marlow's has a very Austin vibe. I grew up in Austin and just moved back. Austin has changed a lot so I was happy to visit a place like Marlow that's dedicated to keeping the Austin vibe alive. The owner is also an Austinite!

Marlow's has a really in interesting and delicious drink menu. I tried both mocktails (option to add THC) and really enjoyed them both. Most mocktails with NA liquor have honestly tasted a bit weird and a bit off. I usually have one and call it a day. However, I really enjoyed the first one that I tried the second one, which I also liked.

The bartenders work amazingly fast and take multiple drink orders at a time and don't miss a beat!

There's street parking and during weekdays, it's free to park after a certain hour.“

There isn’t a stage so if you are sitting at the small tables you can’t see the band that is performing because the higher table are in front. I think that the higher tables should go against the wall where the picnic table is or towards the back and the smaller tables should be up front. There are some people who are unable to sit and the higher tables but are unable to see the band other then that’s it’s a pretty nice place.“

“This was a lucky find we came across while visiting from Dallas and ended up being our favorite restaurant from our entire trip. The pasta and sauce is out of this world. Everything is so fresh and they do a great job coursing the meals so you can savor each dish. If you go, would recommend getting a pasta and pizza to share. They don’t take reservations, so be prepared to wait but it’s worth it honestly. Beer and wine only as well. Still dreaming about the cavatelli…“

“We cannot say enough good things about Kalimotxo! We were in Austin for a bachelorette trip and had a reservation at another restaurant that completely fell through — we showed up only to find out they had literally closed down, despite confirming our reservation earlier that day. We were stressed, scrambling, and worried the whole night was ruined.

Kalimotxo absolutely saved the day. They accommodated our large group of 10 last minute without hesitation, seated us right away, and completely turned the night around for us. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of.

On top of the amazing hospitality, the food was incredible. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and the service throughout the night was outstanding. What could have been a terrible experience ended up being one of the highlights of our trip because of this restaurant and their team.

Highly, highly recommend Kalimotxo to anyone visiting Austin. We are so grateful for how they treated us, and if I’m ever back in Austin, I will absolutely be returning.“

“I went during kind of a dead period. It was early on a Friday. The food was really great though. I had a chicken wrap. The star of the show though, was my bartender, Josh. He was really sweet and just conversed with me. I was having sort of a rough day..my father passed away recently and I needed a day away. He made me feel seen and heard. It's something I'll remember for the rest of my life and I appreciate him for it.“

“Went for another event there but this was indoors.
At first it was not so crowded but the loveRnb more event had folks in there like there would be a live concert.

The atmosphere was great and my mood and energy too.
As the night went by I found out there had a kitchen so I decided to order JUST fries because the gent next to me ordered real food but he was waiting for quite a while. I didn’t expect to wait 45 for fries but I did.
I kept trying to get the attention of the bartender and kitchen staff and what selling appeared to be the manager/owner to ask about my JUS fries order. I was ignored more than once. Then I asked the bartender for water because at this point I felt a bit light headed as I realized I had not eaten all day. Busy life.

But that does not excuse that fact tha I felt highly dismissed. Once the event got super crowded folks were waiting on drinks for 30min ms or so. This was truly a systems failure in the lack of preparedness of the bar/food flow for this event.

Finally I got irritated 😒-well I had because slight HANGRY. After being told they would bring out my fries when ready but at this point it had already been 25min- another 20mins later they arrived. Only after I had to gesture and yell out ‘where are my fries miss it’s been like30mins’

I will return but I do hope they get the bar and kitchen flow and communication down soon.

It’s a nice venue but I have no pictures because I waited at the bar almost an hour. After having my JUS fries I was ready to go.
