Absolutely incredible. Everything was delicious. The staff was amazing! We had someone in our group with celiac and they were super accomodating- our waitress Alex marked up a menu item by item of what was gluten free and what could have easy modifications to make gluten free. The majority of the dishes came out super quick (everything but the large plates, which they prefaced would take a little longer and therefore suggested to order at the same time as the small plates). Kalimotxo has moved to east 6th & Chicon to a lovely modern building. And they have upped their food and drink game. I had the best espresso cocktail ( El Aranzo, I believe). I would go back just for that. The Spanish gin and tonic with rosemary and lemon is also superb. Their cocktails are fabulous with some very unique options, such as their namesake Kalimotxo. All of the food we ordered was tasty. The host was also great. The bar tender and the server could be more attentive, and I feel like I'm super forgiving on service. It wasn't that busy and drinks took a long time, we had to follow up on drinks and food a few times, and we never received one thing we ordered. Our steak clearly sat in the back ready for a long time (no longer hot and it was overcooked) until we asked for it to be taken off the check because we needed to leave....read full review
