“As a BBQ fan I have eaten at all the well known spots in Central Texas. I have been eating at Louie's for a while now and yesterday they had the best brisket I have ever had. Everything on the menu is great. The place is just a gem.“

“Excellent customer satisfaction and delicious food: I stopped in on Saturday about 1:30 pm to pick up food for 5 adults and 2 children. The manager (?) - sorry I did not get his name - was very helpful in explaining different options. When the order was ready, he carried my order the car and got it secure for the drive home. Everyone was happy with our meals. The food was delicious. We will definitely eat here again. Thank you!“

“So a few years ago my all time favorite bbq place in San Antonio, Snoga's BBQ closed they had the best sausage around... in my life I have always been trying to find someone even close to having sausage that was even close to theirs...Yesterday my best friend was taking a day trip to Austin for work and said she was going to stop at Leroy and Lewis Barbecue place that she came across on the internet...I thought why not...I haven't had bbq in a while... so i sent her some money and told her that i wanted some sliced beef and sausage... so while she was there she raved about the food and how good it is... now she is Kansas City bbq girl...I am Texas bbq guy... so this has always been one of the arguments we have... LOL...well i think she has finally found her texas bbq place... so she brings back my food and i picked it up today... and honestly I think I have found my replacement for sausage it will never top Snoga's but since they are not open anymore they have become my #1 of places that are open for sausage...it was that good... not sure if they make their own or who makes it for them and they smoke it or what but it is amazing!!! Such great flavor to it. The sliced beef was also on point great bark and smoke and just melted in my mouth... now I am not a big sauce guy... but the red sauce had a nice peppery kick... they also have a mustard sauce...I don't typically care for mustard anything... but this one was actually really good... but the star is the pork hop sausage...I am having to stop myself from driving up to Austin again for more of it...LOL!!! So if you live in Austin or want to take a day trip go here is worth the trip...5 stars all the way!!“

“While exploring Kyle, TX came across Bloodworth BBQ…a trailer in a parking lot smoking up Texas BBQ. Got to meet Thomas and Tish…owners and makers of all things good in their shack. Sadly, I was too late for brisket or ribs, but Thomas sold me on the turkey. Ordered the turkey sandwich and the sides sounded so good (homemade by Tish) I went with the Mac & Cheese, Creamy Lime Coleslaw, and Grandma’s Potato Salad. The turkey…sooo tender and a nice bark and light smoke taste that didn’t overwhelm the turkey. After my first bite, decided to amp it up with some of the BBQ sauce and the coleslaw which puts this sandwich over the top! As for the sides ALL of them were delicious, my favorite being the coleslaw…absolutely a must order side! Meeting this couple was a great pleasure, friendly and they are excited about opening their brick & mortar store close to where they are now. Great food and great folks in small town USA…worth a trip to enjoy their BBQ.“

“I flew in from Virginia to find these guys and was so glad to catch some of the last bbq before they closed! They recommended the tomahawk chops and I added a beef hot link and have never had anything like it. It was phenomenal. The chop was the best pork bbq I have had in Texas! “Walked in and the inside looked new. The interior layout had a simple modern look. I ordered the one meat plate (sliced brisket) with potato salad and cheddar new potatoes. Gal at the counter was friendly and was key in helping me decide on my sides. Brisket was tender and delicious. The sides were also very good. Overall quality, quantity, and price was great. Very much enjoyed dining here. ?“

“Brisket that falls apart in your mouth. Delicious sides to compliment the meat perfectly. Sweet tea with the perfect amount of sweetness and banana pudding that's so good it'll make you wanna slap yo momma! An indoor playground for the lil'uns too! Highly recommend it!

“This place had hands down the best brisket I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve been eating brisket in Texas for over 60 years! The turkey, sausage, jalapeño mashed potatoes, macaroni, and cheese. Everything was truly wonderful. This was my first time to ever eat there, and I’ll definitely go back! The stuff was great all the way around my family was definitely impressed :-)

Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly! They had games and activities for the kids to do. I didn’t see everything but I did see some playing volleyball some playing cornhole, a few playing soccer and hacky sack, etc. There was a big field where there were vendors with booths set up selling things.

Parking: We had about 50 in our party and there was plenty of party. It was spread out to where we didn’t have to walk too far.“

“Love love love this place and I live in Lockhart, the BBQ Capital of Texas. This place blew me away!! I judge my BBQ places by their banana pudding. If they do t have real bananas, they lose points. This place had bananas. I suggest they add more but I was happy. Slice brisket sandwich was delicious in every way.“
