“What a pleasant surprise. We had the cellars flight of wine and were once again floored by the great taste. The bartender was amazing. She ran the complete bar by herself. She was nonstop. The flight of wine includes a selection of five wines. We drank one (1) white, one (1) rose, and three (3) reds. They were all amazing. We ended up buying four (4) bottles. The wine in Texas is simply amazing. “The food and service were excellent. We had the sliced brisket, it was very tender and juicy and the flavor was great. We also had the sausage and a turkey sandwich. The turkey was also moist, and the flavor was great.Nice outside seating area. Pets are also allowed.“

They had a super friendly staff.The brisket was tender and well smoked, turkey was moist, chicken was falling off the bone, sausage links were a good size, and the pork ribs were tender. Everything we ordered had a nice amount of smoke along with good taste and texture.The Mac & Cheese was super tasty, and so was the strawberry short cake and chocolate pudding.My only drawback was with the chicken. Even though it was falling off the bone and tender, I felt it lacked a little flavor and had too much cracked pepper. Otherwise, the chicken, along with all the other food, was delicious. “Everyone is always so friendly here. The food is excellent and not over priced like most Bbq joints. The sausage is a true example of old fashioned Texas/Lockhart Bbq. The brisket has a good bark and is seasoned just right. The ribs are tender and you can taste the black pepper. Just like it should be. I definitely plan on making Maxwell Barbecue Co a weekly stop.“
“I didn't go into there location one the pit chefs came to my salon and persuaded me to try. When I tell you the juicy brisket melted in my mouth it was unreal. Seasoning was on point don't change it ever. The fat actually melted...I don't eat fat and I ate it. He did tell me that they do a little of out source when it came to some sides but, the potatoes salad was good I can't rank it when I like both with or without mustard. Beans were bussin' no like. Sausage if you do not like a drier texture of sausage maybe find some else but we raised on deer sausage over and I love a drier sausage. Over all I will be eat from there again. “Tried the chicken sausage brisket 16oz slaw & potato salad. All was amazing. $52 for three of us was not bad at all especially for really good bbq. Lots of picnic tables. Parking is no issue at all then walked a few doors down to get a Pecan Pie & a Coconut Pie. Be aware they are open Saturdays & Mondays only. I will be there both days this weekend.“
