“Introduced my friends here during their visit for the eclipse and they absolutely loved it. Team behind the serving line and cashier station were awesome as well. Lisa and 2 other gentlemen took care of us. This is now my go to spot to showcase the Texan BBQ experience.Looking forward to stopping by again!“

“Best little BBQ spot in Lockhart. Got a pound of every meat, a pint of every side and both desserts. Wow! The burnt ends were heavenly and the brisket just melted in the mouth. The sausage had a nicely melted cheese and jalapenos inside. It was amazing with the mustard based BBQ sauce. I wish they were serving their beef ribs. Will have to try that next time.“

“We are visiting TX and my sister and BIL took my husband and I to Lockhart today to do the "BBQ Trail." We visited all the iconic bbq places but Riley's was our favorite. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. We explained this was our 5th stop and we just wanted to try their best meat. Riley suggested turkey and it did not disappoint. His special spicy sauce was divine. My husband just retired from law enforcement and when we pulled up there were 3 county constable cars were parked out front. My husband commented "if cops eat here it's gotta be good!" And it was!“

“Wow, that's some brisket. This place has been operated by the same family for almost a century. Everything is delicious. Service is friendly. There's plenty of seating. Lockhart is a very cute town with lots of interesting little shops to explore.“

“Another Lockhart gem that we will be returning to, over and over!Everything we tried so far has been great….the baker with chicken is my favorite so far, and surprisingly, the fish was fantastic. Great sides…love the macaroni and cheese and the okra!!!The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic about the customer having a good experience.“

“Smoked sausage with their in-house sweet pickled veg mix was an unexpectedly great combo.I don't like sweet pickles (store or homemade), and these are legitimately the first sweet pickles I've enjoyed.They're worth it. Give them a try.“

“What can't I say about this place. Down home hospitality along with delicious BBQ is a 10 out of 10 every time! From the brisket to the sausage and ribs, I can't say enough. The sweet tea definitely deserves its own mention as it is true, sweet tea. Bring your wallet with as it's gotten quite expensive, but it's worth it.“
