“Burgers were fresh and full of flavor.. although one thing that I would reconsider is ordering a double cheeseburger unless you want 2 pounds of ground beef. Single patty is more than enough. If you love fries order an extra side because the burger will only come with a handful. Other than that everything was great.”
“Awesome taco truck open till midnight daily. We tried a variety of tacos, and cabeza was my group's unanimous favorite, with pastor following behind as a close second. Everything was delicious though, and we'd happily come back again. Note that it's cash only!”
“The food is AMAZING! Especially the homemade tortillas, there is always something new for the plate of the day, I love going there. My sister loves the wings, quesadillas, tortas etc there isn’t any other place I would go to eat for a bite to eat?????”
“Introduced my friends here during their visit for the eclipse and they absolutely loved it. Team behind the serving line and cashier station were awesome as well. Lisa and 2 other gentlemen took care of us. This is now my go to spot to showcase the Texan BBQ experience.Looking forward to stopping by again!”
“Best BBQ I have ever eaten? It's definitely top 3. And I have eaten BBQ in nearly every state in America. The turkey with the freshly zested lime was OMG. The brisket is prepared in true Texas style. This is next level food prepared by a master.”
“I LOVE MARKET STREET CAFE!!! My only knock on this place is that I wish they were open for dinner or had longer hours. If your only complaint on a place is that you can't eat it all the time, I would say they are doing a dang good job! The menu is extensive, yet EVERY SINGLE THING is delicious. For real, every thing I have tried is the best version of that thing I have had--from the fried goat cheese to even just the bacon. You can tell that there is some serious talent in that kitchen and they buy quality ingredients. It does not end at the kitchen either though. They have hired some great servers to go along with it to complete your experience. Super friendly and delicious! Cannot go wrong here :)”
“I pity the fool that don’t like Best Little! They have wine by the glass AND by the bottle, beer and NA options, the best patio in Lockhart, poke bowls, Kaye Gwyn and Mel, Chicken Hawkins and his constant side eye, 2 bunnies, a cute pink door for your instagramming needs, Joe Carter Smooth Blues on Wednesdays, all kinds of other theme nights and the by far the most excellent Oktoberfest in town. They have southern hospitality out the wazoo. They support other local businesses. They stay involved in the community. They raise funds for non-profits. And frankly, a glass of wine on the patio and petting Chicken is worth 5 stars on its own. 12 out of 10 if you know what’s good for you! ?”
“Very nice little coffee shop on the square in Lockhart. My favorite things about this place: large variety of options "milk" for your coffee. The coffee itself is heavy bodied but not at all acidic. No wait time, plenty of seating. Cozy vibe.”
“Smash burger was excellent. JoJos were interesting. Would definitely return.Atmosphere was real nice until someone brought in screaming little kids. If you can't control your screaming children, do not taken them out in public. And, especially do not take kids to bars.”
“Very cool spot in downtown Lockhart. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. Biscuits and gravy, pancakes, barbacoa tacos, and the ultimate taco. The staff was friendly and the location is great!”
“This place is amazing! They have healthy smoothies and some that could be dessert! We got the chocolate pb banana and strawberry pb banana smoothies and they blew us out of the water. They also have all kinds of ice cream so you really can't do wrong. Will be back. Also AMAZING customer service!”
“Live music and friendly folks on staff during our recent visit. If you're in the vicinity and want to stop in for a drink, they have a wide array from which to choose. The live music stage is set up in the far back corner, so you have a good view from anywhere in the place. Decor reminds me of a friendly neighborhood coffee shop. Parking in Lockhart is free on the street, so coming from Austin, it was almost a surreal step back in time. People in Lockhart must enjoy the slower, friendlier pace of life. Looking forward to next time.”
“Sweet Tea didn't taste sweet, tasted fruity. Bacon was way over cooked. Waitress was made aware of bacon. Sent it back for more bacon that's not over cooked. Potatoes were over cooked.”
“My dad and stepmom took me here for my bday dinner, currently sitting at the table in the tap room. The owner is super friendly and the food is beyond delicious. Definitely a 10/10”
“My family and I came in last night for dinner and Zoey helped us. She had great recommendations and was an amazing help. She made great drinks too. Will be coming back!”
“The food was decent. The salsa was good but definitely different. It had something in it that I have tasted before but couldn't figure it out. I was thinking that they used tomato bullion cubes in it but it definitely has a different consistency and color”
“Double cheeseburger, chips and homemade hot sauce were winners here.Highly recommend!Added bonus would be some sunlight. Way too dark inside. Open at least one curtain, so I can read the menu please!”
“Wow, What a beautiful surprise. The food is wonderful and the service is amazing. We had fried chicken and gizzards. A couple different sides all of them are wonderful cobbler and banana pudding was fantastic some of the best. Can't wait to go back and try the fried fish and shrimp. Everything's not fried so go give them a try. Very family friendly people. The place is small and cozy. Nice outside patio.”
“Me and my family loves this place so much although we don't live their we would probably go there every time we are in Lockhart.Vegetarian options: There's a lot of vegetarian options on the menuKid-friendliness: It's a nice place for all people to eat and I highly recommend going there”
“IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE. This is not for everyone, but if you like adventures, and want a beer in a true small business setting, you have to take the drive to get here. Beer is pretty good, and the company is outstanding. They have live music on weekends, and some small RV sites are available. This is for those who want a unique country experience. If you are looking for a good experience, give these guys a shot.”
“First time buying in this place. The food is delicious, the quesadilla, uff delicious, it doesn't have a lot of cheese and so it's good to be able to dislike the uQuesadilla al pastor. The gorita is quite large. I ordered it with chicharrón in green sauce and I loved it. The delicious tacos. I recommend this place 100%. Next time I will take my children here and we will eat right there??. The girl who helped us was very kind?thank you.”
“Good Friday, and we had a fantastic meal. I had the all-you-can-eat catfish, and the boss had the chopped brisket sandwich. Both were really good. The owner came by a couple of times to make sure we were good.If you are in Lockhart, TX, stop by, and you won't be disappointed.”
“Wings are good. Beer is cold. Service is great. Plus they really get down on Karaoke night! They have deals all through out the week, come by!Parking: It’s a small town, everything is in walking distance.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed til 10pm.”
“Wow ! What a great bar with an amazing atmosphere. We were greeted quick and made to feel right at home by Reuben. The beer was ice cold and hope to be back soon enough.”
“It was 107° while I was ordering but it was well worth it they have some of the best rotisserie chicken around here the beans and rice are great. Customer service was awesome. Food was delicious ?”
“Fresh and delicious!!! It looked like a restaurant from the outside but was actually a Mexican bakery. The owner helped us select from all the yummy choices- the caracol with raisins was outstanding! We will definitely return to this gem!”
“The food was delicious and service great! Me and coworkers were on our way back from New braunfels and stopped by this place. It was conveniently next to toll road. We had queso, enchiladas, goditas, and barria tacos. Each one was flavorful and super delicious!”
“Excellent tacos at very reasonable prices with quick turnaround and friendly service. These people are open more than Google hours would indicate. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile but normally I already have tacos in my belly when I pass by and see they're open. Today was finally the day.I ordered a tripas, an al pastor and a campechanos. All were very good, but my favorite was the tripas. Their tortillas must be home made. Their corn tortillas were fantastic! Both red and green sauce were delicious, but something about the red sauce makes it my favorite of the two. I think it's the chili they use.I ate the first 3 tacos and the tripas were so good that I had to get 2 more. I don't normally eat 5 tacos during a single sitting, but here we are.Excellent taco truck and I'll definitely be going back!Edit: I've been back a few times, the last being just a few minutes ago. Always friendly service, the food is top notch, and two of us just absolutely stuffed ourselves for $24. I mean we ordered way too much food and couldn't even eat it all. Awesome taco spot FOR SURE.”
“I can guarantee two things after walking into Leon’s and that’s cold beer and friendly faces — what more can you ask for!! Located in the heart of Rockne - you will never regret stopping for 5 minutes or 5 hours!! ❤️”
“Food is amazing!! Love the honey walnut shrimp with fried rice and the egg rolls are delicious!!I love getting the edamame as an appetizer while waiting for our food. And you can't leave without trying the Boba drinks!!”
