“Me and one my besties went today and it was soo good. We had the seafood macaroni and it was loaded with shrimp crawfish etc. the chicken tenders was great as well as the fried shrimp and buttery corn bread.. we initially went for the brunch which we found out it was only on weekends.. which means next time I go out that way it’s a must we go. “HEB consistently has the best food around! We love how seasoned the fries are, and the brisket bark is always so good. Sometimes they are out of things, but that’s because the food is amazing, and what else would you expect of a truly good BBQ joint? Stuff runs out. “I've been to True Texas BBQ in Pflugerville a few times and it’s always solid. The brisket is tender with great smoke flavor and the chicken is consistently juicy. Service is quick and efficient, and there’s plenty of seating so it never feels crowded. Definitely one of the most reliable BBQ spots in the area.“

That was new to our understanding of different types of brisket. She and her staff were friendly, they served us hearty portions of the value package meal we had ordered, the tea was fantastic not overly sweet and not too sour. Well made tea. Oh and that inhouse made sauce omgoodness it was delicious I skipped out on the bbq sauce and just had me that sauce Lol! “Got ice cream and it said 3 scoops are $5. I specifically asked if I can get 3 different flavors in seperste to go contaners snd was told by 2 employees yes. When it rang up Inwas charged as individual scopps at $3 each instead of $5. When I asked about price difference Inwas told it was because I separated them, even though I asked if I could before ordering. Just needed better communication and clarity about ordering.“

“As you have probably noticed this is an extremely popular area of Texas. This Long Horn Steakhouse is very popular. The wait can be pretty lengthy for dinner. However, it is convenient that your small group can wait for an opening at the bar where they serve their full menu and you can watch the game. Our wait time was going to be about one hour so the three of us took a spot at the bar. The bartender was friendly and took good care of us. The only downside was that the bar was never wiped down between guests and our son accidentally knocked his water glass over and nobody ever cleaned it up while we were there finishing our meal. That was a little gross. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and spending time together after a long hard work week.“

“I have a weird affinity for hotel breakfast. The buffet here is a decent spread of super fresh fruits and berries, oatmeal and toppings, yogurts, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Items are refreshed frequently. There is also a breakfast menu with plates and a la carte items as well. Wait staff were attentive without being obtrusive. We did have a small lurch -- ordered a la carte turkey sausage, but it wasn't available (at 9am). Small matter -- we asked if we could have a plate of the pork sausage from the buffet for the a la carte price (the recipient hadn't ordered the buffet). The coffee was hot and plentiful, with the carafe left at the table as the good Lord intended. If you order juice, they leave the decanter at the table as well. Quiet, pleasant ambience allows a good conversation without having to shout or strain to hear and a humane start to the day.“
