Had lunch today at DST BBQ. Enjoyed the potato salad especially(since I am not a potato salad guy). Ribs were some of the best I have had after sampling over 50 Central Tx BBQ's. Brisket was tender and had delicious bark as did the ribs. Also tasted collard greens, beans and corn. All were worth going back for on another visit. Rico, I will be seeing you again.
Amazing BBQ sandwiches, get the Big Texas for a nice sweet heat with plenty of meat spilling out of the buns. Also blown away by the smoked turkey, usually turkey from BBQ places are not a show stopper but this place kept it moist and flavorful. The guys from the truck are awesome and friendly definitely a must try as far as Austin BBQ. The posted Picture is of the Mac & Queso Sandwich, since the Big Texas got eaten before I could take a picture.
