“Great first experience! Got the Sampler Plate, cobbler of the day which was super peachy, and wow what a meal. Beans are a must with the meat pieces mixed in.A nice touch is the vinyl record player with a pretty decent collection. It wasn't playing when I walked in. Previously customer complained. But, with Foo Fighters queued up, I had to play as I waited.Long story short, damn good food. Proof, cats loved it too. Worth using your hands like a caveman.“
“First off, let me start by saying, as I walked up there was a customer at the window. Based on the convo he is a regular. The owner(I’m assuming) handed him a bag of food and said, “here take this home so you have dinner too.” Thoughtful people always a plus in my book.As for the food and this is strictly my opinion. The Cole slaw was a little different for me but good. I ate it all. I can’t pinpoint why it was different. The brisket and sausage has flavor where bbq sauce isn’t needed but I used it anyway. I did feel like Mac and cheese could have been creamier. Again, I ate all of the Mac and cheese just prefer it more creamy. Everyone has their own preference so please come try for yourself. Great outdoor sitting area plus awesome customer service.“
“Wife’s shrimp appetizer was amazing. My ribeye was a thin cut of meat with some kind of seasoning. I ate 3 bites and will use it for stir fry at home. Their menu says it’s one of their tastiest cuts. You can guess I won’t be trying any others if this was their best. Service by Carl was very good. Beer was cold.“
“I visited Smokey Mo's at Wolf Ranch in Georgetown tonight. I pickup the food and take it home. Every time, until now, the quality and quantity of food is inarguably the best. Tonight I experienced the brisket being so fatty that I ate very little meat. The only difference between this time & is this time I couldn't afford to leave a tip. Food being so expensive at the time, it's so disappointing that I essentially received scraps of brisket. I just thought someone should know.“
“We were in Georgetown for a wedding and wanted to try some barbecue. Hello sweetie was very tasty and the owner was very helpful in helping us make some choices. We tried the pulled pork, sausage and brisket along with the mac-n-cheese, beans, cole slaw, collards and potato salad. We really enjoyed the pulled pork and the sausage was very flavorful. The brisket was ok but not the best I’ve had, it was a little dry but a little added barbecue sauce on it helped. The mac-n-cheese was not our favorite but the other sides were fantastic. The beans, collard greens and the potato salad were excellent. I would for sure eat here again.Parking: Small parking lot“
“Who knew the best bar in Georgetown is at HEB? Well prices drinks, great Texas liquor selections, and pleasant service. You can order BBQ at the bar and sit outside while you people watch. Shannon was an amazing bartender. Can't wait to come back for happy hour!!“
“Wow. Great sandwiches. They only had sandwiches and Frito pies, tonight. They didn't have any of the plates mentioned in other reviews. But these sandwiches... wow. Huge. Get the Big Boy sandwich. Brisket and sausage on a huge potato bun. Think "Whataburger-sized" bun. Probably close to 3/4 of a pound of meat. Really good price for the amount of food.“
