“Cowboys BBQ offers a quick lunch experience, drawing a down-to-earth, blue-collar crowd.Priced at $12, I enjoyed brisket and two sides, thanks to their all-you-can-eat self-serve buffet of sides. The same staff have worked there for years and that speaks volumes about the establishment's commitment to its employees and the loyalty of its customer base. It's a laid-back venue with outstanding barbecue offerings.Menu attached in picture.“
“Johnny's Steaks & BBQ is right off I35 in Salado. This is a father-son BBQ joint established in 2002 in Salado, and even before that. 22 years later, on a Wednesday night, almost all the tables are taken.Live music lineup includes Shenandoah on 4/26, Treaty Oak Revival on 5/3, Clay Walker on 5/11, Gary Allan on 6/22, and Flatland Cavalry on 6/27, with concert tickets priced at or under $50, or get closer to the band for more.Johnny's is the go-to spot for family dinners, folks unwinding after a hard day's work, or even retired locals enjoying a drink at the bar. All in the same night, the Mayor had his private party. The staff excel at handling large groups and serving hot food promptly. Sam, one of the bartenders offered me a fresh beer when she saw mine was low. This is the kind of place that supports football. You might even spot a manager personally saying bye to a loyal customer. The queso is delicious, they offer brisket for healthier options, and their hand-battered onion rings are a hit. A high-quality steak at an affordable price is hard to beat, and the talkative atmosphere makes it feel like one big family gathering. I was impressed by the kitchen staff's hard work in managing the quantity of food they had to prepare. It's truly a team effort there, and the locals can't get enough of it.“
“I’m from California and have never been a fan of BBQ joints because Beef brisket and pulled pork are usually so dry that you have to smother them with sauce to choke them down. At Miller’s Smokehouse I finally found out what great BBQ is!The brisket was tender, the chicken was moist and the pork ribs were just right( tender with a perfectamount of Mahogany on the surface). All the above were delicious! I am a changed woman! Also, the corn bread is wonderful too.“
“First and foremost. This family is gifted With putting out amazing barbecue and side dishes. We hired Rossler’s for catering my family’s event. They did not disappoint. I wish they could’ve heard all of the wonderful accolades from our guests on how wonderful their food was.Secondly, Character! They were well prepped, professional, and arrived on time. Here’s a very important part. A portion of our order was not utilized. And when I reached out about it, there was 100% accountability. And I was told by the owner when we were ready for the missing component. To just let them know. Well, it’s been about six months since our event. And we haven’t had a gathering large enough to justify reaching out until this beautiful Easter weekend ahead of us. Not only did the owner Remember us, but he hand-delivered what will be thoroughly enjoyed. come Easter Sunday. It’s hard nowadays to find true customer service, and to be valued as a customer. By this act, it only reinforces that we are committed for any of our functions requiring barbecue that Rossler’s bbq will be our only choice.“
“This was my first time coming here, I was googling brisket sandwiche near me and they pulled up so I tried it and let me tell you I was not disappointed and I will be back. I got the catfish plate and I got the bbq plate for my mother and we stuffed our face, they definitely are not stingy with their portions ?“
“They hosted a Vanilla Ice concert in the backyard area. Had an awesome time and enjoyed the nostalgia of the 90's. Got some sweet tea and a sausage wrap and listened to the music. Food was good as usual and the service was done with a smile and a friendly attitude. Have every intention of going back.“
“We have not been to a Longhorn Steakhouse in quite some time. We were not disappointed. Billy, our outgoing, helpful server, gave us his undivided attention. Although we were 4 guests we ordered many delicious dishes. All our food was cooked to perfection. The crispy brussel sprouts were an added delightful side dish. Thanks so much, Longhorn Steakhouse, for a wonderful experience. You shall see us again.“
“Me and my Grandson had lunch here. The dining room is not large but comfortable. Wait staff was friendly and gave excellent service. We ordered a Kimchi Pancake. I'm not a kimchi fan but the Kimchi Pancake is really good!We also ordered the Crab Rangoon that were served hot and with a sweet dipping sauce. We both ordered Bento Boxes. We had the Spicy Bulgogi and Chicken Teriyaki. They were served with Rice, Kimbap, Dumplings, and Salad with Ginger Dressing. We will definitely be back!“
“Had a blast on my Saturday outing at the gin at Nolan Creek! ? Let me tell you, the cotton balls were beyond delicious - like, seriously next-level gourmet. Makes me think of how when I'm traveling (which I LOVE), finding those hidden gems where the food just sings to your soul is what it's all about. #FoodieAdventures #“
“My first time stopping there, and I’m sorry I didn’t stop earlier. Their food & BBQ is the best around. The Turkey leg is the best I’ve had since I moved here 17 years ago. And they give enough to where you will be so full. Thumbs up Tiffany“
