Update July 2026:: We usually sit at the bar because we feel the service is better. Some days when a certain manager is not present seems like the kitchen and service lacks. The rolls were undercooked one visit and another they were charred. Wonder if it’s just summer help? Nonetheless we are loyal TXRH customers and we come weekly“

“Sauce was very vinegary. I understand some sauces are vinegar-based but it was too much so. Bbq was cooked well but too spicy for me (some like it that way). Potato salad and baked beans were decent. Completely out of pecan pie and cobbler. Had to settle for choc cake and ice cream. Service was great.“
