“Picked up Ribs, Sausage and sides to bring back to the family to surprise them with BBQ. First of all the scent of good BBQ will hit you hard. The Food Truck looks amazing, meticulously kept and such a friendly grill master serving up the goods. The Ribs melt in your mouth while the spices excite your taste buds. The sausage has that perfect blend, not too hot, not too mild. Sides are great. All we can say is, "Can't wait to go again and try the brisket. YUM YUM!“

“My husband and I went here as part of my husband’s weekly biking/food adventures. We saw it on the map and thought it would be a great place to stop by after a long bike ride for some BBQ and beer. I was informed when we got there that they do not have beer yet, it’s currently BYOB. They are in the final stage of getting their alcohol license, however, I feel like maybe the BIG sign out front should be updated. Maybe the Beer part and wine should be hidden, considering they are by the highway and a lot of people can see it— it would be a disappointment to stop from your drive and knowing they don’t have it.Now starting with customer service because for me, it is a big deal. Well talk about southern hospitality! They were nice and polite! The food was amazing!!! It’s 10/10!!!I ordered “The Rookie” platter for $20. I think that was such a steal! I got their lean brisket and it was really good! I’m going to try the fatty brisket next time to see if it’s more moist. I also got two sides, Smoked Mac & Cheese. OMG. First time trying it and it was so good! It’s so creamy! I also got their Mexican Street Corn and let me tell you, I think this is the best street corn ever! It was well seasoned, it was perfect! This is the reason why I’m coming back for more! We also got the potato salad and it was also good. I think I may have to get a larger one for our Thanksgiving this year.My only qualms were:1. the BBQ sauce on the tables. I’m thinking if I got a bad batch because it was super tangy.. I don’t know if it went bad or something but we weren’t a fan of it.2. They also have outdoor seatings which was great because it was such a nice sunny day with some breeze and my husband had his bike. I just noticed that the tables were a little dirty. I spilled my drink on the tables and when wiped it, it was dirty. They have a pretty decent sized outdoor field, which I am wondering what their plans for? I would like to see it more lively, maybe some live music or something. I see a ton of potential with this spot! Granted, we will be coming back especially to try their desserts and when they finally have some beer.“

“Great food and customer service. If you check out the menu, you can see the theme of the restaurant. I ordered the Poly Plate. This plate includes 2 meats and 2 sides. I chose ribs and brisket and mac & cheese and greens and it was so good! I felt like I recieved a plate off grill from a family holiday cook out. Only thing is once they sell out, it is gone so make sure you plan accordingly. This restaurant also has a variety of desserts like peach cobbler and banana pudding and kool aid as well.“
“Luis was our server while dining here at Hot Pot. He has been our server on one separate occasions in the past as well. He ensured that all our meat and vegetables needs were met. Unfortunately they serve Pepsi Products but needless to say our cups were always full. It’s the food and atmosphere that bring us to the place but it’s the service that we were provided by Luis that keeps us. Will be returning again soon.“

“Decent BBQ meat but the sauce was a bit too vinegary. Prices are way too high; $8 for a sandwich on a unbuttered, unheated bun with no sides or drink. Being located on Rancier doesnt help with attracting a crowd who can afford these prices except the soldier at Cavazos who dont seem to mind being ripped off. No offense but I dont see this place being open too long due to prices that dont match food or atmosphere quality.“
“After not dining in Roadhouse for a few years, I decided to stop in and have a steak dinner. I surprisingly didn't have a long wait on a busy night. The hostess seated me in a great spot with tv's in perfect view. My waiter came over really quick and took my drink order. It came out really fast and was really good. My waiter then took my order and said it should be out shortly, and it was! One area that has gotten a lot better is the service. Although my steak was a little on the small side, it was cooked perfectly! It was exactly how I wanted it, and it tasted amazing. My loaded mash and the dinner rolls with that butter didn't disappoint and honestly has never let me down. However, my mac n cheese was not at all pleasant at all. I wasn't feeling that at all. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I would return.“

“Ordered the brisket sandwich and my wife got the smoked brisket baked potato. My brother and his wife got brisket and smoked turkey. Sides were slaw, potato salad, and new potatoes. All of the meat was delicious. The baked potato was large and was great with the brisket topping. Slaw was mediocre. I also think they could put more meat on the brisket sandwich simply because of the price and I believe that the price is a little high on everything for the portions, but I did not regret anything. Bought a pound of brisket to take home. The BBQ sauce was good, but not as spicy as I prefer. Definitely not real sweet, which was a plus. I'm from Memphis, so I didn't even try the ribs, but what I've heard about Texas brisket is true. These guys know what they are doing. Would go there again. Service was great.“
“I really enjoyed this bar! I'm pretty fair but I'm always honest. With that said I found that this place did really well. First off they greeted you when you came in and were friendly throughout the experience. They had a wide variety of liquors and the place was set up nicely and was clean. There is lots and lots of room. They even have an outside area for nice days which really was impressive. They have a decent size parking lot and I had no problems getting in with my RV.. the prices are moderate which is very easy to deal with when considering the exceptional service. The overall feel of the place is laid back and the dress code is casual. If I am in Belton I will definitely go back. Also if you are a fellow veteran you will probably strike up some great conversations...“

“Hidden gem. Tried this place a couple days ago after being recommended by a client. I was skeptical at first but decided to give it a try. I had the ribs, yams and Mac and cheese with cornbread. I wish they could’ve heard all of the wonderful accolades from our guests on how wonderful their food was.Secondly, Character! They were well prepped, professional, and arrived on time. Here’s a very important part. A portion of our order was not utilized. And when I reached out about it, there was 100% accountability. And I was told by the owner when we were ready for the missing component. To just let them know. Well, it’s been about six months since our event. And we haven’t had a gathering large enough to justify reaching out until this beautiful Easter weekend ahead of us. Not only did the owner Remember us, but he hand-delivered what will be thoroughly enjoyed. come Easter Sunday. It’s hard nowadays to find true customer service, and to be valued as a customer.
