Today the brisket was perfect. Bark on both sides of our lean brisket and it was moist and fall apart tender. The best hands down.
We ordered dinner to go at the True Texas BBQ in H.E.B. near S. Fort Hood St. in Killeen. This was our first time trying True Texas BBQ. When the cashier Alec learned this was our first time trying True Texas BBQ, he literally spent at least 5 minutes breaking down everything they had to offer on the menu. He also provided samples of anything we wanted to try to ensure that we liked everything we ordered upfront rather than waiting to get home to discover if it was good or not....read full review

The pit master, Justin, has been there 8 years and he definitely knows how to cook consistent, quality BBQ. Customers appreciate the fast service and good food, with many returning monthly to enjoy both the food and the service.
