“My husband and I stopped by this week and I was incredibly impressed by the changes. The beers were out of this world! Fun new games to play, and did I mention how amazing the beer is! Food truck was on point too. Make a stop you won't be disappointed.”
“My husband and I went here as part of my husband’s weekly biking/food adventures. We saw it on the map and thought it would be a great place to stop by after a long bike ride for some BBQ and beer. I was informed when we got there that they do not have beer yet, it’s currently BYOB. They are in the final stage of getting their alcohol license, however, I feel like maybe the BIG sign out front should be updated. Maybe the Beer part and wine should be hidden, considering they are by the highway and a lot of people can see it— it would be a disappointment to stop from your drive and knowing they don’t have it.Now starting with customer service because for me, it is a big deal. Well talk about southern hospitality! They were nice and polite! The food was amazing!!! It’s 10/10!!!I ordered “The Rookie” platter for $20. I think that was such a steal! I got their lean brisket and it was really good! I’m going to try the fatty brisket next time to see if it’s more moist. I also got two sides, Smoked Mac & Cheese. OMG. First time trying it and it was so good! It’s so creamy! I also got their Mexican Street Corn and let me tell you, I think this is the best street corn ever! It was well seasoned, it was perfect! This is the reason why I’m coming back for more! We also got the potato salad and it was also good. I think I may have to get a larger one for our Thanksgiving this year.My only qualms were:1. the BBQ sauce on the tables. I’m thinking if I got a bad batch because it was super tangy.. I don’t know if it went bad or something but we weren’t a fan of it.2. They also have outdoor seatings which was great because it was such a nice sunny day with some breeze and my husband had his bike. I just noticed that the tables were a little dirty. I spilled my drink on the tables and when wiped it, it was dirty. They have a pretty decent sized outdoor field, which I am wondering what their plans for? I would like to see it more lively, maybe some live music or something. I see a ton of potential with this spot! Granted, we will be coming back especially to try their desserts and when they finally have some beer.”

“I absolutely love the Crabcakelady! I eat there weekly. Anytime my friends and family visit I feed them the Crabcakelady and now it’s a regular for my out town guests as well. I love the crab cakes, waffle fries, crab fried rice, egg rolls, and quesadillas! Basically the whole menu.”
“This midwestern gal loves a good BPT but they are few and far between here in Central Texas. Checkpoint Germany food truck was at Rentsch Brewery in Georgetown, Tx for Oktoberfest so I decided to try their schnitzel plate. It looked like a breaded pork tenderloin so I took it home and turned it into a sandwich.It was da bomb.Good breading, not greasy, just the right thickness and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes tasted like my Oma's.Highly recommend. And recommend this be sold as a sandwich called the BPT schnitzel. It will attract and satisfy the plethora of Hoosiers and Hawkeyes longing for a taste of home.”

“Have come here a couple times. Overall the restaurant is clean, and the K-pop music playing on the speakers definitely fits the theme. The food is good don’t get me wrong, but I wished they would actually bread the hot dogs with what they have on the menu. We have previously (my husband and I) had k dogs and if they are hot Cheeto flavored then they are battered and completely dipped in the hot Cheeto dust. They however do not do that here, instead just put some on top (which all ends up falling off anyway) so it’s not very effective. I can’t deny the boba strikes and the actual food is delicious. I definitely recommend them but much more for take out simply because they don’t have much service accommodation if you are eating inside. I guess it’s like eating inside an ice cream shop. Good employees, I give them4.5/5”

“Very good Italian ice. Cotton candy is my favorite. My 1 warning to people is if you order the half gallon I would recommend transferring it to a different container. The lid is very hard to open and breaks easily my first or second time opening it the lid broke into a ton of small pieces and I got out as much as I could and I must have end up swallowing a piece because the next day I was defecating blood. (Dark/upper GI) Could have been a coincidence but I'm pretty sure it was because of that. But I'll still be coming back for more.”

Our server got out whole order wrong but she was so sweet and tried to take it back and get it fixed but honestly I’m glad she mixed it up both my husband and I loved what we got and wouldn’t have gotten it because well I’m scared to try new foods and well he will eat anything. But i highly recommend going they are just so sweet the food is good and even if they do mess it up they offer to fix it immediately. (But honestly if you were the server that served us tonight don’t be to hard on yourself mistakes happen you did great trying to fix it the only thing.)”
“Came here on a Thursday evening with the family and was happy with everything I tried. The calamari rings were new to me, very good. The shape of the crab rangoons was unconventional but definitely delivered on taste. Three or four varieties of shrimp were available and all were good. The coconut shrimp clumped a bit but tasted fine. The clams were great, they have a soy sauce glaze that really hits. The best of all to me was the fried catfish. Not greasy at all and the breading was perfectly crispy yet not over cooked, which can be hard to do on a buffet. The sushi was kinda mid but not bad. It was $59 for three people so not over priced considering the seafood was on point.”

The food here is delicious as well, the wings and the fries here are really popular. On Fridays and Saturdays, it has a club vibe. There's a dance floor area, couches, bar seating, high chair tables, and regular table seating. They've recently added hookah service as well!”

All the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. On top of that, the portions are huge for the price. The only thing I would change is that I wish the sweet and sour sauce was thicker, it is pretty runny, but the flavor is good. I would definitely order here again.”

“Let me tell you something they have never disappointed me I love the food the worker's the boss he's the best manager I've seen if I'd ever have to work in the food industry again he'd be my preference as a boss I'd love to work with. The only thing needing to be added is a party room even though they don't have one they made sure the staff went above and beyond to seat us together the music was definitely on point with the slow 90's r&b I just ate some last night my flavor is Cajun and Fire for the spice. “The food and service was awesome the store was mostly clean except for Damage Done to the dining room floor which I was there several weeks ago and it was there it's like the owner or management don't care they don't fix it or clean it up it's just tiles that are chipped and broken and coming up very dangerous especially if you have a young child who walks in and decides to pick the pieces up and stick them in their mouth or gets cut on the ceramic and it's not the employees fault it's management owner and maintenance that are failing at their jobs”

I returned and had to wait another 20 min to get my order. It's really frustrating when you place your order on the app wait before you go to the store so they'll be able to get everything done and you can just pull and get it. Find out that you will need to wait another 20 min. Come back and have to wait for a third 20 min stretch of time. And best of all there were no other orders being cooked during the first 50 minutes I was there. I placed a second order when I got there for the second time. I never saw another customer until I was getting the first part of my order. And the two register recipients were sequential”

“I had a taste for birria tacos and wanted to check out a new spot instead of going to my usual food truck for them. I've passed Tatazo several times, but I finally decided to give them a try. The birria tacos had really good flavor, but they were soggy instead of crispy by the time I got home. It was disappointing, but seeing as they at least had flavor, I powered through and finished them. The consumé helped, and unlike some places, it wasn't just a cup of grease and oil. The horchata was better than a lot I've had in the area, so there are no complaints on that end. I'd try the birria tacos again, but I'd eat them in the car there. I do plan to try other menu items as well. If you like birria and know how hard it can be to find good flavorful birria tacos, I think you'd appreciate these.”

“A very quaint little place. Easy accessible, drive-thru. Not lots of parking but that's okay. Most people use the drive-thru anyways. Customer services almost always phenomenal and the ladies are always very kind and always lift my spirits up, especially when I'm feeling down. I would say the coffees I have tried so far are pretty good. I do like some of their bubbas I'm not fan of popping boba in general. I wish they had the tapioca Pearl type boba but that's okay. Everything I have tried has been great and they also have a great taste in music LOL”

Like most restaurants in the Killeen area, though they miss the mark compared to surrounding cities. Idk what it is about this area, but it's not gourmet or great at the majority of the restaurants in Killeen I've visited. It really doesn't matter whether it's supposed to be high-end or fast food. My best recommendation is to steer clear of eating out in Killeen. That's about as nice as I can be about it unless you're looking for a cleanse.”

“My husband and I wanted a little treat after 8pm one night and this place was open and looked really cute. The ice cream treats are amazing. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The menu is in Spanish but the staff is good at translating to English for those of us who aren’t fluent in Spanish. This is now our favorite treat spot. I highly recommend going for snacks or treats or just a good place to have a cooling drink and hangout.”
“While searching for Birria tacos, I remembered La Loteria was a place I always wanted to try after seeing the classic style diner years ago. I pulled up, and the parking lot was pretty empty as it always is whenever I've passed by in the past. I walked in and saw a familiar face, so I expected the food to be at least good at that point. I glanced over the menu and decided to go with the Quesabirria plate. I had a short wait time for my food, so while waiting, I took in the classic feel of the diner. It felt like I was sitting in the diner scene from Back to the Future. The line cook started on my order and took no time. I got my order to go, seeing as it was the NFL playoffs were on at that time. I got home and opened my plate and noticed my quesabirria tacos looked more like regular tacos. The onions were cut to big, the plate didn't come with consume, and the sauce cups barely had any sauce. My food didn't look anything like the plate pictured on google. I was disappointed at what I was looking at, but once I actually tasted them, they were surprisingly really good. The side cup of beans that came with the order had a ton of flavor! I was pleased with how good everything was, but I was disappointed in the presentation. The customer service was great, as well as the atmosphere. The place did look like it could use a really good deep cleaning, but with that being said, I do plan to return and give the breakfast a try.”

The fish was friend perfectly with a good mix of seasoning. He didn’t even reach for ketchup as most kids do with fish. “We got delicious biscuits as soon as we ordered. We came at 5:00 on a Saturday. There were only about five groups in the restaurant, and we waited about twenty minutes for our meal. I ordered the shrimp alfredo and the coconut shrimp. The alfredo was a good portion size, but the shrimp's tails were still on! I wasn't expecting the coconut shrimp to be breaded, but they tasted good. The food is a little overpriced for the quality, but I like that the portion sizes aren't crazy like at similar chain restaurants.”

The shape of the crab rangoons was unconventional but definitely delivered on taste. Three or four varieties of shrimp were available and all were good. The coconut shrimp clumped a bit but tasted fine. The clams were great, they have a soy sauce glaze that really hits. The best of all to me was the fried catfish. Not greasy at all and the breading was perfectly crispy yet not over cooked, which can be hard to do on a buffet. The sushi was kinda mid but not bad. “I live in Austin but when I'm in the area I typically make it a point to stop at L&L to grab a bite. Being from Hawaii, this place always reminds me of home and tastes just like it was made in Hawaii. Chicken Katsu, Kalbi, LocoMoco, the Mac Salad... whatever you get you can't go wrong. It can take a little bit to receive your food (depending on how busy it is) so a good idea would be to order online and/or call ahead in advance unless you don't mind waiting a bit.”

She seemed to check on us at the perfect time, each time! She was easily one of the best servers I've ever met. “I had a $100 bill at 6am and no one would take it or break it and all I wanted was breakfast. They couldn't break it either but the man at the window offered to pay for it for me.
