Because I'm born and raised in the south the food was ok but not the best. If you've never had authentic soul food before it's good. However I will give it 3 stars for a nice try.
Hidden gem. Tried this place a couple days ago after being recommended by a client. I was skeptical at first but decided to give it a try. I had the ribs, yams and Mac and cheese with cornbread. I was impressed. Ribs was tasted great, just wished I had more meat but for the price I was satisfied. Mac and cheese was good, not the best but no major complaints. Yams was on point. Tried this place today. It was pleasantly good. It was not over the top, but neither was the price. We had a pork steak, rice, and Mac & cheese. The service was great, the food, was good and so was the cost. Happy customers.
