Tried this place today. It was pleasantly good. It was not over the top, but neither was the price. We had a pork steak, rice, and Mac & cheese. The service was great, the food, was good and so was the cost. Happy customers.

This place was recommended to us by a random stranger when my husband asked for a good BBQ Place in town while we were out shopping. Great people and great service but the food ?. The Potato Salad tastes like water, the pinto beans are dry, the BBQ was not good in my opinion. If you like to grill and know how to grill, I definitely would not waste time trying this place.I will say that the meat was cooked well, however, the flavor or the bbq sauce and sides are below subpar. I ordered the half a chicken plate and my husband got the ribs for $25.

Hidden gem. Tried this place a couple days ago after being recommended by a client. I was skeptical at first but decided to give it a try. I had the ribs, yams and Mac and cheese with cornbread. I was impressed. Ribs was tasted great, just wished I had more meat but for the price I was satisfied. Mac and cheese was good, not the best but no major complaints. Yams was on point. Cornbread was just ok. Service was nice. The atmosphere was ok. I mean its a small place, mom and pop shop feel. But it was clean. I would recommend this place

I went here in 2015 when I was 15 on family vacation man when I tell you I wasn’t expecting that to be bussing bussing like that I never forgot that food I still taste till this day almost a decade later I finally found it. Whenever I come back to Texas this on the list for sho. ????

Been coming here for over 20+ plus years! I usually get the combo plate but sometimes I get the half chicken plate or ham hock plate or pig feet plate. I’ve got sweet potato pie and I usually get tea or lemonade or both. All good, been good for over 20 years. I’m sad they don’t have a drive through anymore because the business next to them said it was part of their property and blocked it off ?
