I tried something new today--akee and saltfish with yellow rice, fried plantains and fried dumplings. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food but the food was excellent [well I didn't love the dumplings LOL]. My friend got Cucumber Water and I had some kinda Lemonade with Ginger. I liked both but I recommend the Cucumber Water. Not what I expected--definitely refreshing and delicious. This was the perfect way to start the week... I have tried oxtails from all over Texas!! It's so hard to find a good oxtail but theirs are so good! The meat was failing off the bone. It wasn't chewy or tough. The cabbage was good as well. The whole plate was good. I'm not going anywhere else next time in in Killeen. I've definitely found my favorite
