About Gyro Stop

Gyro Stop is a beloved restaurant known for its delectable gyros, which are widely regarded as some of the finest in the area. The servings are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the owner is praised for being friendly and preparing fresh, well-seasoned gyro platters and sandwiches. The comfortable and quiet atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for a relaxing lunch. In addition to the gyros, the restaurant's fries are a popular choice. Customers appreciate the wide selection of condiments and seasonings, offering excellent value for the price.

The restaurant has earned a reputation for its authentic Mediterranean cuisine, with customers raving about the delicious dolma. The owner's exceptional customer service and the overall quality of the food have made Gyro Stop a local favorite. The gyro meat and po' boys receive high praise, and the fried vegetables are cooked to perfection, resulting in a crispy, seasoned, and flavorful experience.

Customers who have moved away still crave the unique taste of Gyro Stop's gyros, as they find it difficult to find a comparable experience elsewhere. While the tzatziki sauce could benefit from more fresh cucumbers, the overall dining experience is excellent, with the meat tasting great and the portions being satisfying.

Great place and great environment!! If your in Killeen you have to go
Awesome food. A total hidden gem in downtown Killeen. One of the best Gyros places in town.
First, my brother and I walked in here not knowing what to expect. We ordered 2 Gyros, 2 Greek Fries, and 2 Baklava's and boy lemmie tell ya hwhat. Absolutely delicious.

We got to talking with the owner and learned a little about the place. One thing he mentioned was that in recent times, they haven't had as much business--which is insane because I've paid more at TBell for less quality food.

I highly recommend giving this place a try.
