“The owner caught us at the door and gave us VIP treatment through the side door. He knew what we wanted and his customer service was amazing. We felt like family. He even informed us of the weekend fish fry and get togethers. We will definitely be making it back for that!! Love it!!!!“
“This place is a gem. The food is really delicious. Oxtails were flavorful and tender. Rice and beans were soft, combining with the oxtail sauce, it’s heaven. Their plantains tastes better than any Jamaican restaurants I’ve been to. It is nicely charred and melts in your mouth. The chef and cashier were both very nice. I recommend that you call to place your orders ahead as it could take as long as 30 minutes to be ready.“

Yo this Oxtail J*** Chicken plate from @little_jamaica_lounge hands down one of THE BEST JAMAICAN FOOD spots in the area. Portions are huge, prices are good and the flavors are on point. “the food is delicious and authentic! the portions are perfect, and the restaurant itself is clean and inviting. the woman that owns the establishment is extremely hospitable and puts love into her cooking. i suggest coming here for lunch, for about $8, you get a choice of jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtail, or a few other options, served with rice and beans, a salad, sweet plantains, and a tall pink lemonade. everything is tasty here and i highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good jamaican restaurant.“
“Was so lucky to be able to enjoy this popular j*** chicken before I left Fort Hood. I lucked out and got the last plate. I must say it was very delicious. My only issues is that it was over cooked. But it was still delicious, just the chicken was a little hard. I would highly recommend. I got the juice drink and it was a little different.“
“I tried something new today--akee and saltfish with yellow rice, fried plantains and fried dumplings. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food but the food was excellent [well I didn't love the dumplings LOL]. My friend got Cucumber Water and I had some kinda Lemonade with Ginger. I liked both but I recommend the Cucumber Water. Not what I expected--definitely refreshing and delicious. This was the perfect way to start the week... Living My Best Life is an understatement.
