“One of our absolute FAVORITE Mexican restaurants in Killeen! 🇲🇽❤️ The food is always delicious, authentic, fresh, and made with so much flavor. You can truly tell there’s love behind what they serve. What makes this place even more special is that it’s family-owned and genuinely supports our military community and our troops. 🇺🇸 As a military family, that means so much to us. “I have always loved to visit this restaurant. It is very clean, the food is fresh and quick, and the service is amazing. Today I was able to witness how well trained the staff is. While eating I had the joy of watching another customer storm up to the register and complain and shout at the girl at the counter. It was handled professionally and the staff member kept her cool while being shouted at. Good job.“

“OMG! We drive by here all the time because it's around the corner from our house, and I keep saying to my family that I wanna try it. I should have tried it sooner, I've been missing out! I got a regular taco plate and my daughter looked at me like I was an extreme lunatic because the noise that came out of my mouth after I took the first bite was unidentifiable as a human noise. It was amazing! we finished our plates in the car, we didn't even make it into the house. I just don't recommend driving while enjoying, the enjoyment will overwhelm to the point that you can't even focus on driving. It smelled so good that I just couldn't help myself, I had to try it before I got home! Definitely 5 stars!“

I have been going here for years, and recently returned for work.
Las Brazas is a family owned shop and serves delicious, authentic, and fresh tacos/burritos! They are very friendly and do honest work. They grill their chicken daily in front of their restaurant, and make absolutely amazing food. I almost always get the Big Bite Burrito (Chicken and Carne Asada) with tacos (Chicken, Carne Asada, and/or Al Pastor).
The green hot sauce they make is delicious and packs good heat. Use in moderation if not accustomed to spicy salsa.
Absolutely recommend, this place is amazing!“

“New brunch menu was off the chain! Drinks were tasty. I got the Lemon drop. Got there around 2pm. Friendly professional service. Entire staff was eager to help and please. “Ordered 2 horchatas, 2 1lb chicken rojo banana leaf wrapped tamales, tostilocos, and Hot Cheetos with everything (corn, melted cheese, etc.).
One word: DELICIOUS!
The tamal literally melts in your mouth. The corn masa is so soft, and the chicken rojo is tender and perfectly well balanced in flavor. They weren't overly hot sometimes rojas pack a serious spice, but these had a great, comfortable little heat, thankfully! They were packed nicely with plenty of meat.
My husband devoured his tostilocos, and the Hot Cheetos weren't overloaded so they didn't get mushy or soggy, which we loved. The horchatas were spot on not too thick and not watery. They offered options to top them off with extra cinnamon or something else I forgot, but it was perfect just as is. (Note: The cups do come with caps and straws; I just hadn't put them on yet for the picture!)
The individual who assisted us had great rapport, and was patient, helpful, and considerate. Our total cost for everything was about $53.00, plus we left a tip for a grand total of $61.23.
Highly recommend this place the food and service are outstanding. Definitely one of our new favorite spots!“

“This location is the best and truly has the friendliest crew no matter what time of day I’m in there. They’re extremely polite and it makes my experience so much better as I hate going other places where everyone is so miserable and acts like I’m inconveniencing them by ordering or picking up my food that I’ve paid for. I hope the staff and manager see this because this crew deserves a little extra! They make delicious food, it’s always made quickly and it’s an enjoyable experience coming in. Last week during the free burrito day, there had to have been about 20 people inside waiting around lunch time. The staff all stayed calm, polite and worked hard.“
