From the moment of planning, to day of the event the staff was beyond incredible in all aspects. The food was abundant and fresh and hot, and delicious. Whatever we needed the staff was on it. Very disappointed in our experience. The brisket was clearly not at temperature, and instead of addressing the concern professionally, the manager or serving lead, touched the meat on our plate with his bare fingers, questioned how long it had been sitting there, and then asked who had served us.
Rudy’s has always been one of our go-to recommendations when friends asked where to find great BBQ. We have always considered their food and service top notch, which made this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the handling of the situation has really changed that perception.“

“I have a weird affinity for hotel breakfast. The buffet here is a decent spread of super fresh fruits and berries, oatmeal and toppings, yogurts, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Items are refreshed frequently. There is also a breakfast menu with plates and a la carte items as well. Wait staff were attentive without being obtrusive. We did have a small lurch -- ordered a la carte turkey sausage, but it wasn't available (at 9am). Small matter -- we asked if we could have a plate of the pork sausage from the buffet for the a la carte price (the recipient hadn't ordered the buffet). The coffee was hot and plentiful, with the carafe left at the table as the good Lord intended. If you order juice, they leave the decanter at the table as well. Quiet, pleasant ambience allows a good conversation without having to shout or strain to hear and a humane start to the day.“

I should’ve skipped lunch. The BBQ sauce they make is fantastic. The ribs were SSSmokin the brisket was Savage the dirty rice was made with SSICK SSKILLs. I wished they served beef ribs because I would LOVE to see what they do with this. I got me a SSick hat. My only gripe was the setting was riddled with flies but this is not reflective of the cleanliness of this food truck. It’s just an outside area so I cannot and will not count it against this place.“

“Delicious food, attentive staff, and cool decor. We always have a blast and a delicious meal when we go to Honey Pig. If you don’t know what to order, my recommendation is to pick a combo. The severs will cook it for you. They always give our toddler balloons weighted down with chopsticks to keep her entertained while we eat. Sometimes there’s a wait, but they will text you when your table is ready, so you can go browse H-Mart while you’re waiting. Highly recommended!!“

We had the seafood macaroni and it was loaded with shrimp crawfish etc. the chicken tenders was great as well as the fried shrimp and buttery corn bread.. we initially went for the brunch which we found out it was only on weekends.. which means next time I go out that way it’s a must we go. The brisket slices probably were stored in an oven already cut to keep them warm, but they were a bit dried, which decreased the flavor, it didn’t taste as good as when freshly cut. The employees were very nice and have a good customer service manners. The atmosphere is Ok, like any other chain restaurant. We had to wait for one of the employees to clean the mess the previous customers left on the table and under it. They didn’t clean it right away, but when we started complaining.“

All of us were Extremely pleased with our meals & will recommend the truck, as well as their catering to our friends!“

“Stopped in for the Spicy Pork Bulgogi Bowl and was really impressed. The pork was incredibly tender with just the right amount of heat. It had a nice spicy kick without being overwhelming, and the flavor was balanced really well. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the fresh salad with the creamy dressing was a great contrast to the spicy meat.

The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and the bowl was put together really well. You can tell they care about the food they’re serving.

The customer service was just as good as the meal. The owner was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of everyone who walked through the door, which made for a great experience.

The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and has a relaxed atmosphere. It’s also right next to my new gym, so I have a feeling I’ll be making this a regular stop. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try the kimchi fried rice and some of the other dishes on the menu.

“This is the second time I've ordered from Smokey Mo's this week as it's my family's favorite BBQ restaurant. So much selection & ever item, from the meats to desserts, is delicious. BBQ flavorful but not too spicy. On top of that, the staff is incredibly helpful & friendly. I've been a customer since 2002 and always had a great experience!“

“I got the sliced barbecue sandwich. It was good but on the dry side. I had their original barbecue sauce on the side. It's very good! The meat is pricey but all barbecue is expensive now, no matter where you go. We hardly go out to eat and noticed a big jump in prices. It's big and roomy inside and has a nice atmosphere. Of course they were playing good, old country music.“

“I recently ate at this restaurant two times. First time I got a two meat plate with brisket and turkey, Aunt potato salad and brisket beans. The second time I got pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. And I have to say both times the food was excellent. My dad also really loved the turkey so we'll definitely be back for that again. The only issue that I have generally is they don't give you as much meat as some other local barbecues for about the same price. To be honest, the amount of meat that they gave you was plenty for me. But if you're a big eater, you may be disappointed by the portion sizes here. They generally give a quarter pound but they have rules that state that they cannot give less than that. So usually you'll get a little bit more. But at another barbecue place I ate at nearby I could get about twice as much meat for the same price.

Parking: There really is plenty of parking here, but unfortunately because it's attached to an HEB store, it's generally very very difficult to find open parking spaces, especially up near the front.

Kid-friendliness: They do not have any kids meal I am aware of.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are a few places up in the front of the parking lot, but it's very very difficult to find Open spaces since this barbecue store is also attached to an HEB store.“

“I had an absolutely wonderful time over Father’s Day weekend taking my dad up there. Longhorn is one of his favorite restaurants and we were also blessed with the sweetest server. Her name was Petunia. Her energy was amazing. She was very attentive to me and my parents. She made us giggle. We will definitely be coming back up to that location very soon. She gave us some great suggestions on drinks, appetizers, and dinner all over. Amazing experience.

“We used to live in Austin over 6 years ago and Chi’Lantro was one of our absolute favorites—I have missed the kimchi fries since we moved!
We recently came back and were so happy it’s still just as good. We definitely miss the kimchi burger (please bring it back!), but we loved trying some of the newer menu additions like the BBQ pork and K-pop chicken. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and such a fun fusion concept that really works.
What stood out just as much as the food was the service. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Even our kids loved it, which says a lot for a place with bold flavors! It’s hard to find somewhere that feels unique, delicious, and family-friendly all at once, but Chi’Lantro does it so well.“
