From the moment of planning, to day of the event the staff was beyond incredible in all aspects. The food was abundant and fresh and hot, and delicious. Whatever we needed the staff was on it. “The food was fresh and good. I ordered the brisket wet, received a few pieces of burnt ends, not my preference. The brisket I give a 7 out of 10, not the best I've had but better than average. The chili stew was excellent the coleslaw was fresh, slightly on the sweet side for me but good. I definitely want to come back and try the prime rib. The staff was amazing and loved the atmosphere.“

“As you have probably noticed this is an extremely popular area of Texas. This Long Horn Steakhouse is very popular. The wait can be pretty lengthy for dinner. However, it is convenient that your small group can wait for an opening at the bar where they serve their full menu and you can watch the game. Our wait time was going to be about one hour so the three of us took a spot at the bar. The bartender was friendly and took good care of us. The only downside was that the bar was never wiped down between guests and our son accidentally knocked his water glass over and nobody ever cleaned it up while we were there finishing our meal. That was a little gross. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and spending time together after a long hard work week.“

“I have a weird affinity for hotel breakfast. The buffet here is a decent spread of super fresh fruits and berries, oatmeal and toppings, yogurts, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Items are refreshed frequently. There is also a breakfast menu with plates and a la carte items as well. Wait staff were attentive without being obtrusive. We did have a small lurch -- ordered a la carte turkey sausage, but it wasn't available (at 9am). Small matter -- we asked if we could have a plate of the pork sausage from the buffet for the a la carte price (the recipient hadn't ordered the buffet). The coffee was hot and plentiful, with the carafe left at the table as the good Lord intended. If you order juice, they leave the decanter at the table as well. Quiet, pleasant ambience allows a good conversation without having to shout or strain to hear and a humane start to the day.“

“HEB consistently has the best food around! We love how seasoned the fries are, and the brisket bark is always so good. Sometimes they are out of things, but that’s because the food is amazing, and what else would you expect of a truly good BBQ joint? Stuff runs out. “Me and one my besties went today and it was soo good. We had the seafood macaroni and it was loaded with shrimp crawfish etc. the chicken tenders was great as well as the fried shrimp and buttery corn bread.. we initially went for the brunch which we found out it was only on weekends.. which means next time I go out that way it’s a must we go. “Delicious food, attentive staff, and cool decor. We always have a blast and a delicious meal when we go to Honey Pig. If you don’t know what to order, my recommendation is to pick a combo. The severs will cook it for you. They always give our toddler balloons weighted down with chopsticks to keep her entertained while we eat. Sometimes there’s a wait, but they will text you when your table is ready, so you can go browse H-Mart while you’re waiting. Highly recommended!!“

“Got ice cream and it said 3 scoops are $5. I specifically asked if I can get 3 different flavors in seperste to go contaners snd was told by 2 employees yes. When it rang up Inwas charged as individual scopps at $3 each instead of $5. When I asked about price difference Inwas told it was because I separated them, even though I asked if I could before ordering. Just needed better communication and clarity about ordering.“

“I recently ate at this restaurant two times. First time I got a two meat plate with brisket and turkey, Aunt potato salad and brisket beans. The second time I got pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. And I have to say both times the food was excellent. My dad also really loved the turkey so we'll definitely be back for that again. The only issue that I have generally is they don't give you as much meat as some other local barbecues for about the same price. To be honest, the amount of meat that they gave you was plenty for me. But if you're a big eater, you may be disappointed by the portion sizes here. They generally give a quarter pound but they have rules that state that they cannot give less than that. So usually you'll get a little bit more. But at another barbecue place I ate at nearby I could get about twice as much meat for the same price.

Parking: There really is plenty of parking here, but unfortunately because it's attached to an HEB store, it's generally very very difficult to find open parking spaces, especially up near the front.

Kid-friendliness: They do not have any kids meal I am aware of.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are a few places up in the front of the parking lot, but it's very very difficult to find Open spaces since this barbecue store is also attached to an HEB store.“

“Had a great time at Eddie’s Tavern. It’s a fun hangout spot with snooker, table tennis, darts, arcade games, and a bar area. The vibe is relaxed, people are friendly, and the service was good. Definitely a great place to go with friends and enjoy your time.“

“Went there couple of weeks ago. The okra is absolutely amazing and the chicken sandwich is always onpoint.

We went to one of our favorite and go-to spots on Friday for date night. We had the luxury of getting a Californian transplant Maddy with the beginnings of a very good Texas twang! She was an excellent waitress, great personality, her energy and timing of stops were near excellent.

She was very pleasant while I debated between delectable not good for me southern comfort food and healthy, healthy won out. I had the salmon with baked sweet potato and finished with a not on the menu but requested fruit cup (strawberrys, mandarin oranges and grapes) which was a great finish. The salmon was cooked just right and the sweet potato topped with butter and brown sugar was my unhealthy tease.

“Great little bar. Yes, they allow smoking. If smoke bothers you there are as ton of bars around that will be perfect for you. Please do not leave a bad review just because they allow smoking. There are VERY few bars that we can smoke in and hundreds that don't allow smoking. Be kind and find the right bar for you.“
