Who knew the best bar in Georgetown is at HEB? Well prices drinks, great Texas liquor selections, and pleasant service. You can order BBQ at the bar and sit outside while you people watch. Shannon was an amazing bartender. Can't wait to come back for happy hour!!

I finally paid a visit to HEB Tru Texas BBQ. At the HEB in Georgetown. It is pretty good barbecue. I got moist brisket, sausage, turkey, pulled pork beans, Cole slaw, potato salad and cobbler. I wanted a good sample of their food. First off, the prices are a lot better than other BBQ places in central Texas. The brisket was decent. Moist but not super flavorful. HEB. “Here, everything is better”. That’s what the commercials say, and that is what HEB BBQ proves. I was born, and have lived only in Texas, so I am picky about BBQ. HEB did it right. Their meats, sides, drink selections, dessert options, are second to none. The only sad moment for me is that they don’t offer chicken. Usually, this is a deal breaker for me. Not so with HEB!
