“Saigon Cafe is hands down one of the best restaurants in Temple! As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for several years, I can honestly say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in town.

From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with a warm smile and genuine hospitality from the staff. The young lady at the front was incredibly friendly, our server was attentive and kind, and the owner made us feel truly welcome.

The food was absolutely outstanding. The fried rice is the best in town, the pho is rich, flavorful, and authentic, and the dumplings are simply amazing. Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with care.

It’s rare to find a restaurant that excels in both food quality and customer service, but Saigon Cafe does exactly that. You can tell they take pride in what they do and genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent Vietnamese food and a welcoming atmosphere. She complained multiple times about a “wait” (mind you, all menu items are made to order) and verbally accosted the manager. Desserts and adult drinks served but did not have any this trip. Easy to find location at 1st and Ave H. My mother (super duper critical about food) gave it the thumbs up too. “My guy and I stumbled across this place after hanging out at the Railroad Museum. Fell in love instantly! We sat at the bar. The layout was comfortable, the ordering system (computer) was unique to us but I loved the way we could choose, back up and go forward in all the areas. (Also, we didn't need our cheaters!) The food was delicious! My mushroom burger made me swoon! The grilled corn was out of this world and I am going to try later today to see if I can even come close! The fried green tomatoes were a hit and my guy really liked the polish sausage(?) with the chili topping. The beer was great! We settled on the IPA with the word grackle in it - sorry can't remember it exactly. We were so impressed (we were visiting from New England) that we went back the next day to watch the Patriots game and were surrounded by football fans that were fun to talk with and we stayed for a Dallas game afterwards. LOVED EVERY MINUTE WE WERE THERE! The bartender (s) were fun and easy to talk to. We tipped them well!“

“This place came recommended. We were not disappointed. Brook, our server, was delightful. She made recommendations and checked on us frequently. Her nice smile and friendly demeanor was welcomed. We're ordered pizza with New York crust, wings and a side salad. They hand you a bottle of homemade Ranch which was delicious! The pizza was great. The wings were average size and they were really good as well. Cooked to a perfect, slight crunch that didn't fade with the sauce. (I hate under done fatty wings) We got a complimentary bottle of ranch which we can bring back and have refilled for a mere $6. That was awesome! The ranch was really delicious. There's a million TVs so you're sure to find your sport. If I was going to complain about anything at all it would be that the beer glasses aren't made of glass. I really prefer my bear in real glass. But that won't stop me from coming back for sure!“

Eventually, I had to park and enter the store to get my order. The clerk says they cannot see when a customer comes to the window. It's not in the best place.“

She had for customer service skills and I've been coming in there for years and she is always working hard and has a smile. Y'all have a valuable employee for sure. I just got some bacon cheese sticks and they were delicious! I wish they would redo this store because it would definitely help with business, especially being next to the school.
