Yes, there are plenty of places to get good TexMex in Waco, probably about 6 or 7 in a 2 mile stretch of Hewitt Drive. What separates Rosa's from the others is the customer service, the value, and the fresh salsa bar. My family and I do take advantage of Taco Tuesday at least once a month, but where they really take care of me is when I need to feed my employees last minute and not spend a fortune. I have had this happen many times, and twice in late June after the flooding in the area. My employees were working long hours, we were extremely busy, and I needed to feed them, once on June 15th, when I had 16 mouths to feed, and again on June 20th, when I had 12 people needing good food. On both occasions I went in unplanned, ordered, and both times the manager on duty immediately jumped in and expedited the prep of these to-go meals. I might have waited 10 minutes tops, maybe not even that long. Seriously. And then, they both offered to help me carry out my food. Pretty hard to find that at most places! So, if you want to feed your family, or you want to feed a large crowd, and you know how much good fresh salsa and pico de gallo can enhance a meal, why not go to Rosa's. Great job guys!“

“Nico was very friendly. He was unsure of how to do the survey redemption, so he got Tyrion to help. Tyrion has waited on me before, and always remembers me. He showed Nico what to do, and he took my order very quickly. My order came up shortly after having filled up my drink. Very quick and efficient. Food was warm, fresh, and delicious.“

“In my family we love some peanut butter cookies! I was traveling through Waco and got a phone call letting me know peanut butter was a cookie this week and begging me to stop. “Moroso Italian delivers truly authentic Italian cuisine. Had the Margherita pizza and it was amazing. Moroso does a great job with authentic Italian food, and their Neapolitan style pizza is some of the best I’ve had. The crust was light and flavorful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything came together perfectly. Great atmosphere and great food. I’ll definitely be back.“

The grilled crab cake had a good flavor but not hot (temperature wise) enough for my liking. I would try the fried instead if that’s your thing. The potato bowl with etouffe with fried shrimp was so good and seasoned.

This week I ordered 3 dozen the day before for an early morning pickup but due to an emergency I was unable to pick them up. Holly at the Waco store called and left voicemail checking to see if I was ok first and wanted to see if I was going to be able to pick up my order. I called Holly the next morning to explain the situation and the first thing that she said was I hope you are ok. She offered a full refund .
