The Mac and cheese with the lobster, and of course truffles, was to die for. And he threw in a little creme brulee that's not even on the menu. Can't recommend this experience enough. “In my family we love some peanut butter cookies! I was traveling through Waco and got a phone call letting me know peanut butter was a cookie this week and begging me to stop. So, we placed an order on the app, I pulled up and went inside and they had it all ready to go for me! The staff were super friendly, smiling, and helping other customers. “Our waitress, Felice, was amazing. She recommended us different wines that suited our palate and our glasses of the different wines were delightful. We created our own board (3 for $25) with Mahon cheese, jamon, canned mackerel, and salchichon. The board came with pickled onions, pickles, nuts, mustard, and some preserves. We also ordered the duck breast which came with a black currant wine glaze and the meatballs appetizer. Everything was delicious from the wine choices to the food. Service was great.

We ended our meal with Abuela’s Tarte and it was perfect!“

“So good!! Not sure why it’s called club sandwich when they don’t serve sandwiches, but whatever lol. I come here whenever I’m in Waco; it’s just that good. Don’t overestimate how much you can eat, though; the portions are big! The service is always fantastic. Our cashier was so sweet, and she seemed to genuinely care about how we were doing and what brought us to Waco. Highly recommend!!“

“This place was great! Rarely do you take 6 kids to a sit down restaurant and feel actually welcomed. The staff was all so sweet, encouraged the kids to look around and ride in their state trooper car, even gave them quarters to use. The food was great! The kids loved that they got theirs delivered in cars. We all had burgers and fries. Fresh, homemade goodness. definitely recommend and will be back.“

The food was most excellent, the atmosphere was good and the service was top notch! Looking forward to hearing the live music later this evening. Will definitely stop in anytime I come through or near Waco.“

“Food and service were excellent. Disappointed in the credit card surcharge and the excessive beef cost. In a day where cash is far less prevalent there is no reason to add a surcharge. It is only going to hurt the employees when folks reduce the tip.“

“Goodness gracious what a great surprise this was. The green beans are OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. Whole experience was a 10/10 and wish I lived here so I could come back for a quart of those green beans every week lol

The grilled crab cake had a good flavor but not hot (temperature wise) enough for my liking. I would try the fried instead if that’s your thing. The potato bowl with etouffe with fried shrimp was so good and seasoned.

“Everything was perfect. Jordan was incredible. He made us feel as though we were top priority. His recommendations were spot on. The calamari was cooked perfectly. The salads were fresh and delicious. The portions and the pace at which the food arrived were perfect. The steak was the most decadent juicy flavorful medium rare. The scallop was the most perfect scallop I've ever eaten. The sautéed veggies were crisp and flavorful. But that bread pudding almost made me cry. it's the best I've ever had. From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out, the experience was truly incredible. The next time we're in Waco, we will definitely be back, but we will have to call ahead and make sure that Jordan is working so we can have the same elite service that we experienced today.“

“Relaxed casual Family atmosphere, great food.

This is a place where you order on entry, get the food immediately, and seat yourself at large picnic tables inside or outside. Very friendly and fast,! It's great for family style eating, like a neighborhood bbq inside.

The bbq is some of Texas best, especially the brisket! You can choice moist or lean. They offer sausage links plain, jalapeno ( our favorite) or cheese.
