“Whenever we're at the Waco Downtown Farmer's Market, we ALWAYS stop by Muchos Tacos. Their barbacoa tacos are seriously the best, and we've loved everything else we've tried, too! “Not ready to be done for the day after exploring Waco, I crossed the bridge to Brotherwell. This is a brewery and they sometimes have a food truck. No food truck today, which was just as well, as I was well stuffed with tacos from earlier.

A bit industrial and bare but they have a few tables inside and a few tables outside. I was inside and chose one of their beers, sitting at a table near a power outlet. No air conditioning other than a few high speed fans so a hot/humid day might be a challenge. Another beer and two hours later, I was ready to call it a day.

Tripel, Radler, Wheat, Hazy IPA, American IPA, Porter, Irish Red and a Hazy Pale. The "Wacotown" was my choice and it was pretty tasty. Prices are reasonable at between $5.50 and $7.00 for a pint. They'll pull a pitcher if you prefer. I believe you can bring your own food if you want.“

The barista seemed to be a bit distant, not the warmest, but, may have been me. Drinks were well timed, but the dirty chai I got was not sweet at all, surprisingly. Not the worst, just unexpected for the flavor. Overall, a great little place in a historic building with cool vibes and good brews.“

“Traveled from Dallas to meet my family in the middle traveling from Killeen for an early Mothers day lunch. We picked Heche's because of good reviews and the location. Great location, but very disappointed in service and food. after waiting a while to be seated in the half empty restaurant, we waited an hour for our food, and it was mostly terrible. Not fine dining at all.“

“We recently went to visit Houston and made the drive up to Waco. The Boss grilled cheese was incredible…in the top 2 favorite things at Magnolia. I wouldn’t have ever thought to put basil on a grilled cheese, it was so good that I was mad I offered to share with my husband!! The service here was also top notch. “Went here with my boyfriend. We wanted to go on a nice little date night but I had no idea where to go so I was like let's go to freight bar. We were just at pretty fancy. I was in a really nice fancy old-timey red dress and my boyfriend was dressed up and a button-up and a tie and freight bar is not a place. You would think to go in that attire but we still went anyway. I was a little bit bummed because they weren't doing any activities the day we went but then we started playing cool which was really fun. Even though I'm not very good at pool I still won because my boyfriend kept getting the eight ball in (silly goose) then they had a soccer version of pool which was very difficult and we didn't like it that much. We just played soccer within the giant soccer pool table. It was actually one of the best dates nights I've had with him and the drinks were really good. I got two Shirley temples (non-alcoholic) and my boyfriend got water. I would recommend this place for families. Looking to have a good night. They also do cracks here sometimes which is always super fun.

Parking: There is a free parking lot outside of freight bar. At the time that I went the road was closed which is unfortunate but I've been there before where it is a free parking lot that you're able to use

Kid-friendliness: There was lots of kids there and it's very family and kid friendly has lots of games for the kids. It also has a little dog park for the dogs to go in.“
