“If you have never had a fish taco, let this be your first. It was my first time to ever hear of a fish taco or try one in San Diego in the mid '80s. I have never been the same. Nor have I EVER had a fish taco that even compares. My brother introduced me to Roberto's while he was in the Marine's. When he said I had to try one, I was horrified. A FISH taco??? Those were not a thing in Texas at the time. And bless his heart. I've never forgotten that experience or that taste in Cali. When I found out there was a Roberto's in Waco, I had NO idea it was related to the taco shop in SD. CAN YOU IMAGINE MY TOTAL SURPRISE? Once I tasted that fish taco freshness, it brought me back to San Diego to one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. Try one. YOU WILL THANK ME!!!!“

“These are the most amazing tacos I have had. I left Northwest Arkansas and came down to Austin and had many tacos, from many spots along the way. These were the best! We drove over an hour the next day back to the Taqueria for some more!! Must try, if you haven't. The watermelon agua fresca was amazing as well.

“I love this place, even more so now that they serve food, The nice lady helped assisted us with renting a uhaul, she was very helpful and understanding of what we needed. When we returned our uhaul the following morning we got some delicious breakfast sandwiches and were on our way, there is so much to choose from we will be back!“

“My co-worker goes here often and speaks highly of it so we decided to go try it out last night. I had a chile relleno and it was very good. 10/10 recommend.
