“Everyone knows Rosa's due to the long lines they have for Taco Tuesdays. But Rosa's delivers pretty good value the other 6 days of the week too!
Yes, there are plenty of places to get good TexMex in Waco, probably about 6 or 7 in a 2 mile stretch of Hewitt Drive. What separates Rosa's from the others is the customer service, the value, and the fresh salsa bar. My family and I do take advantage of Taco Tuesday at least once a month, but where they really take care of me is when I need to feed my employees last minute and not spend a fortune. I have had this happen many times, and twice in late June after the flooding in the area. My employees were working long hours, we were extremely busy, and I needed to feed them, once on June 15th, when I had 16 mouths to feed, and again on June 20th, when I had 12 people needing good food. On both occasions I went in unplanned, ordered, and both times the manager on duty immediately jumped in and expedited the prep of these to-go meals. I might have waited 10 minutes tops, maybe not even that long. Seriously. And then, they both offered to help me carry out my food. Pretty hard to find that at most places! So, if you want to feed your family, or you want to feed a large crowd, and you know how much good fresh salsa and pico de gallo can enhance a meal, why not go to Rosa's. Great job guys!“

“If you have never had a fish taco, let this be your first. It was my first time to ever hear of a fish taco or try one in San Diego in the mid '80s. I have never been the same. Nor have I EVER had a fish taco that even compares. My brother introduced me to Roberto's while he was in the Marine's. When he said I had to try one, I was horrified. A FISH taco??? Those were not a thing in Texas at the time. And bless his heart. I've never forgotten that experience or that taste in Cali. When I found out there was a Roberto's in Waco, I had NO idea it was related to the taco shop in SD. CAN YOU IMAGINE MY TOTAL SURPRISE? Once I tasted that fish taco freshness, it brought me back to San Diego to one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. Try one. YOU WILL THANK ME!!!!“

Street corn and the black beans were delicious. Margaritas were strong, flavorful, and refreshing! We visited on Fathers Day with reservations and were seated promptly. Service was exemplary, friendly and helpful!“

“These are the most amazing tacos I have had. I left Northwest Arkansas and came down to Austin and had many tacos, from many spots along the way. These were the best! “My co-worker goes here often and speaks highly of it so we decided to go try it out last night. I had a chile relleno and it was very good. 10/10 recommend.
