“Came in as an out-of-town visitor eating alone, and left feeling like a regular. Madison took care of me from the start, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Her recommendations were spot on. Every dish she suggested was fresh and full of flavor, and the whole meal felt thoughtfully put together rather than just ordered off a menu.
Eating alone on a work trip can feel a little lonely, but Madison made sure it didn't. She checked in at just the right moments, without ever hovering, and made the whole evening feel easy and special.
I left with a happy belly and a full heart. If you're lucky enough to get Madison as your server, just say yes to whatever she recommends!!!“

“I cannot say enough great things about Armstrong’s! I usually get the crawfish étouffée and it’s ALWAYS delicious and only $10 for a generous portion. Today I ordered the gumbo $13, and it’s equally amazing! Their portion sizes are great, food is consistently delicious, and the service is fast. Definitely a great place for good Cajun cuisine in Waco, located amongst the many great restaurants/food vendors in Union Hall.“

“The tent is much bigger this year, so more tables are covered. The staff is efficient which is important to pull this off. I like it that you buy tickets now so you're not holding up the line while you decide what you want. The bugs were fantastic! I thought the shrimp was a little over cooked, but everyone else at the table loved it. This is always one of our favorite crawfish events.“

“Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside building looks like absolute garbage. The food inside is actually authentic Mexican or very close to it.
Just a warning the menus are in the spanish.
Great price point compared to what you are getting.“

“I wish I would have taken a picture of the food we ordered because it looked and tasted delicious. The carnitas were so tender and had great flavor. Also loved their lemonade. The service was great and our waitress took really good care of us. Definitely recommend.“

“let me just say i had the best meal in the world at salkgrass the steak melted in my mouth the waiter cannon was the best server he did his job my mom and i go here from time to time and we have to share a steak cannon never looked down on us cuz we were sharing the mood in the room was beautiful the manager is doing his job the waiter cannon was professional beyond and last but not least in this kind of job cooking steaks and things mostly are men but i found out it was a woman that cooked our steak yall need to give that lady a raise no doubt i will be back“

“I had lunch with daughter and granddaughter. It was my second time eating at your establishment. Everything was wonderful. So pleased with the fresh, delicious food. The waitress was so nice and efficient. I'll be back again, and again!“
