“A must-stop every time I'm in Waco. After a couple tasting flights I took home a bottle of the rye and always enjoyed it. I came back next time to have another tasting and get another bottle. This is the best whiskey I've found in Texas.
The distillery has whiskey tastings, a full bar of cocktails made from their spirits, and beers as well. There's also a gift shop of their glasses, branded shirts , hats, and a few books. They have tours, a decent size parking lot and, across the road, a couple restaurants and a cookie shop.“

“This hole in the wall, has amazingly food, and fabulous service. I believe the same family has owed and ran it for over 100 year. Small yes…I think a few booths and the counter with bar stools to eat at. Don’t be in Waco, near vtecks and not give it a try. They close early 3:30 on Saturday!“

“What a wonderful surprise! Don’t let the neighborhood keep you away. I had the gyro plate and the meat was so tender I cut it with my plastic fork…like butter. It was delicious. The hummus was great as well as the chicken kabob. I especially loved that it is family owned and run. A very special place. We will be back.“

It’s a little pricey, but that’s because grow all the food that they serve from my understanding. Let me tell you, the food is wonderful. Peach Sweet Tea, table bread, and Corn Fritters are a must try. Family friendly atmosphere. Very clean facility. We will be back.“

“1 - Excellent food…fried pickles appetizer gone in 60 seconds; burgers were awesome; tater tots add beyond yummy…and stay crispy enough for next day breakfast ( because they give you a portion that you WILL have another meal) 2 - Speedy, friendly customer service…very attentive staff….we tipped well over the standard 20% because it was so good! 3 - beautiful, lively atmosphere…air coolers for outdoor eating, which we chose despite the heat/humidity Most importantly, I was an out of tower and this was my last meal with local family before flying out the next morning. Dumb a** me left my wallet at the restaurant and didn’t realize until getting ready to leave for the airport at 0830. We stopped by the restaurant to see if it was still in the outdoor eating area…nope. Luckily, ran into the contractor doing some work…he called the owner, the owner confirmed it was in the office safe. After hearing I needed to make the AM flight to DFW for connection to home, he dispatched an employee to go in on a planned closed day to get my wallet. This kindness allowed me to make my flight…what he didn’t know is this act of kindness was critical because I had a new job in-person interview scheduled for the next day. Forever grateful. THAT is customer service. Thank you so much! Tells a lot about the culture and dedication to customers. Keep up the awesome work…I will be back. Promise to keep better accountability of my wallet!“

“This place is a gem in downtown Waco! ?Service was extraordinary, food was fantastic, and their new location which is inside of a historic movie theater is beautiful and romantic. I ordered jerk chicken breast with veggies and my friend ordered jerk shrimp with pasta. Never knew veggies could taste this good! We both stuffed ourselves, cause the food was way too good to stop ?The place was very clean, smelled beautiful, dishes were shiny and well washed, and the owner who happened to be the one to take care of us was super nice. We enjoyed another fantastic meal at Moroso’s. We started with the Bruschetta which was an explosion of flavors. My husband had the shrimp scampi, which is the best we’ve ever had! I had the pesto pizza, which was also delicious. Our waiter, Austin, was excellent. Of course Dan, the owner, is always so friendly and cares deeply that all customers are happy. We love this place! We give it a 10 out of 10 stars!“

“Was passing thru Waco on i-35. I suggested that my wife find us a place to eat. It's a bit away from I-35 but well worth the drive.

The food was very good. Friendly service and fast. The restaurant was also clean! We will return.

The salads were fresh and delicious. The portions and the pace at which the food arrived were perfect. The steak was the most decadent juicy flavorful medium rare. The scallop was the most perfect scallop I've ever eaten. The sautéed veggies were crisp and flavorful. But that bread pudding almost made me cry. it's the best I've ever had. From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out, the experience was truly incredible. The next time we're in Waco, we will definitely be back, but we will have to call ahead and make sure that Jordan is working so we can have the same elite service that we experienced today.“
