“A place I visit regularly.Drinks: the coffee is roasted on the premises and either sold in bags or as drinks. There is a good variety of drinks with pour-overs, loose leaf teas, matcha and chai. I recommend the Black Rooster or the White Fredo. The prices are a bit high but keep in mind that things there are usually artisan, home made, and they have to cover costs.Atmosphere: very calm. It is a place where you can chill for hours whether indoors or outdoors under the shade. The ambient music provides good background noise.Seating: several booths with outlets for charging as well as chairs and tables.WiFi: Excellent. Enough said.Misc: the staff is very courteous and will treat you professionally. The restrooms are nice and clean. They also sell coffee presses, merch and chocolates. Once you’re done with the coffee you have a whole community to explore!“

“This was our first visit to The Mix Café! My grandson and his girlfriend had visited several times when attending Baylor.After the basketball game, we were starving. She recommended Mix Café. It was all that she said and some! Highly recommend that you stop by.“
“My husband and I had breakfast here today. We both had an omelet. They were delicious. Salsa is made in house and was fresh & flavorful. Our server, Jessica, was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend and will eat here again next time we come through town.“
“This is a cute little cafe! All of the food is delicious. I especially love the muffins and the baked oatmeal! The only minor issue is that the coffee had an odd aftertaste to it. It wasn't bad necessarily, just not as good as everything else I've had from here. I'm not sure if it was just a one-time thing, or maybe it's just where they get their coffee from, but this won't keep me from coming back for the yummy food.Vegetarian options: They have milk alternatives and vegetarian options“
“I ordered a hamburger and it was outstanding. It was around 1/2 pound with a flame grilled flavor. This reminded me of a home made burger because it was generous with the toppings. The pic doesn't do it justice. It's bigger than it looks. I recommend calling before visiting. This place is can be closed at random times. The menu is unorganized but that doesn't bother me when the food is very good.This is a local gem!“

All associates were moving quickly but one in particular, ANGELA went above and beyond in pleasantness, helpfulness, knowledge about the menu & concern for her clients. She couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. She moved at the speed of light doing her job (and it WAS busy). She definitely should be recognized as a valued employee. SHE is the reason my friend and I will come back! With gem employees like her, why would we eat anywhere else?Parking: Never a problem.
