“Was visiting Waco for a few days and I looked up bookstores nearby. I’m so happy that I found this place. It is definitely special. They have a great selection of books and cute stationery items that are both unique and local to the area. The coffee that I ordered was perfect. They also have beautiful plants inside that add life to the place.“

“This Cafe is truly a God send. not only do they serve delicious home-cooked Southern meals but they also bring respect and compassion to the table.compassion for all. here we all sit on the same table and eat a meal of our choosing meaning they allow you to choose which meal you would like to from two different already prepared meals then after you are seated a waiter brings you a tray with a variety of different desserts.( choose one), then let me tell you you've never tasted tea this good. so so refreshing. especially on a hot summer day. Yes please.this Cafe is built within a house. the living room turned into a dining area, the kitchen was widened, library to the left then around the next corner another room turned into a dining area. upon arrival (depending what time you get there) you wait in line .(please do not block the door) choose your dish then choose your table and enjoy and yes! it's absolutely Free... the interior is very clean, not to crowded and after you are done eating the waiter or waitress will pickup after you and prepare the way for the next guest. the atmosphere here is no different than any upscale 5 star restaurant although I did enjoy my conversation here just a tad bit more. mainly cause they were rooted in kindness with compassion. there are restrooms, it is wheelchair accessible but no wifi and parking is rough but it's definitely worth the small thing we go through. I'm not exactly sure how the book part works ,maybe cause the meatballs in mashed potatoes had me savoring the taste😛 but if you so choose afterwards you can catch a seat on the wrap around porch or benches out back and strike up a great conversation as your food settles. I strongly recommend this Cafe to all who visit Waco remember Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m...enjoy“

“My coffee was delicious. I got their seasonal one called the Wildflower. I had the option of hot or iced and I chose hot which was a great choice.
My sister got the iced Strawberry Matcha and it was awesome, too.
Espresso beans are on point!
They also sell white, dark, and milk chocolate bars usung cocao beans from many different countries such as India, Peru, Dominican Republic, etc.

“We love their eggs Benedict and omelettes. However last time there i ordered the crab egg Benedict. The crab was served minced(like tuna) and smelled really strong of seafood. I could not eat it, the waitress said I couldn't send it back because I ordered it. Yes I did order it BUT the menu did not say it was minced like ceviche. I was honestly gagging. This is a review that is to give a heads up on the crab Benedict. Everything else has been wonderful!“

“I got the spinach quiche and hashbrowns so the a side of fruit and a half order of French toast (sourdough traditional) and the French toast was phenomenal as well as gooey and moist or whatever word works best to describe a really good French toast that’s been adequately soaked and battered. So good.
My boyfriend got the deluxe breakfast burrito with the hotlinks as the meat option and it was also incredible and savory with good hashbrowns and refried beans as a part of it.
I also got a buttered rum latte and it was delicious and frothy.
Everything was so good. Additionally some fun little Great-tailed grackels hanging out on the windowsill that were funny to watch.
