“Went for a buddy's birthday. Had catfish, pork loin, patty melt, and chicken fried chicken with onion rings, mashed potatoes, brown & country gravies, spinach/greens, beans, peach cobbler, beers, whisky & diet coke. All great. Breadings are light and lightly fried. Waitress, Lauren, attentive, knows the menu, presents well. Dining rooms & bathroom clean. Staff friendly. This place is huge with multiple dining rooms and an outdoor area. Service is pretty quick; bring your MC or car group.“

“Been a customer for several years, since they opened in Temple. I love their beer and food and the atmosphere is great. The staff is friendly and they take the time to learn the frequent customers and their orders. I definitely recommend the mug club if you like craft beer. The music bingo they do on Fridays is a hit but definitely plan to reserve a table in advance if you have a group or just get there early. Kids are welcome and the out door space is great for them (Dad of 2 girls by the way). I only wish they allowed smoking outside on their property since I like my cigars. However, I understand why they don’t allow it due to it being a family establishment. They also love the veterans. Anyway, definitely check this place out if you love good food, better beer and great times.“

“Italiano’s recently catered my son’s wedding and it was so good! The staff was very professional and Abbie was amazing to work with. The food came fresh from Temple to Salado! They arrived in a timely matter. The food was a hit with the guests! I will definitely use them again for any future events.“

Great Authentic Thai Cuisine.

We have eaten here several times.

Service is great and staff are friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is clean with a nice size dining area.

We had:
Thai Basil Fried Rice with Chicken
Pad Thai Bath Nut, (has all the meats)
Pad Thai with Chicken Hot
Pad Sweet and Sour with Chicken
Massman Curry with mushrooms and Chicken

And all the food was great, served flavorful and hot.“

“I don’t eat meat so it’s hard to find good food that I can actually enjoy but baby when I tell you the Cotton Patch in Temple Mall did not disappoint I mean just that. I had the best and I do mean the absolute best fried mushrooms that I have ever had. They also have an all vegetarian meal on the menu. My husband had the chicken fried steak meal and it was cooked beautifully. The chef came out and greeted us and our waitress was a pure delight. “My guy and I stumbled across this place after hanging out at the Railroad Museum. Fell in love instantly! We sat at the bar. The layout was comfortable, the ordering system (computer) was unique to us but I loved the way we could choose, back up and go forward in all the areas. (Also, we didn't need our cheaters!) The food was delicious! My mushroom burger made me swoon! The grilled corn was out of this world and I am going to try later today to see if I can even come close! The fried green tomatoes were a hit and my guy really liked the polish sausage(?) with the chili topping. The beer was great! We settled on the IPA with the word grackle in it - sorry can't remember it exactly. We were so impressed (we were visiting from New England) that we went back the next day to watch the Patriots game and were surrounded by football fans that were fun to talk with and we stayed for a Dallas game afterwards. LOVED EVERY MINUTE WE WERE THERE! The bartender (s) were fun and easy to talk to. We tipped them well!“

“My date and I were there at Cheeves for dinner on last night. I was very disappointed about the overcooked 16 oz. Ribeye steak when I asked for medium well and it arrived with no red at all. Medium well is not well done and it is not like it can be sent back to cook it more. I did not want to wait for another steak to be cooked because it took a while for the meal to come and we had plans afterwards. Cook the temperature of the steak as asked. That was a $75+ waste of money.“

“BJ’s is my favorite restaurant to eat in Temple! It’s easy to get seated, watch your favorite sporting event on TV, and the food is great with service that is fast and accommodating. Plus, the menu selections are perfect from appetizers to entrees to deserts. I’m not big on beverages, but they’ve got that mastered as well!“

“Our waitress was good but the food was only ok. Our steaks & burger weren't cooked right but it was enough we didn't send them back. Everything seemed to lack flavor except the horseradish sauce that came with the onion.

“Our experience was excellent. The only thing that I can even complain about is the mass amount of people and noise level. However, the waitresses were on top of food, service, and making sure all our needs were met. The steak was excellent and not over priced. I day that in respect to our economy and some of the insane prices at other local competitors. I fed 2 teenagers, and 2 adults. We took home food! I higeshly recommend this Texas Road House. Oh, and the waite time was about 4 minut before we were seated!! Excellent!!“

My advice: order them naked with your sauce or rub on the side, and they come out beautifully crispy but not overdone. The service is great, TVs all around including one cool giant one. Our group also loved the fish and chips, wedge salad with incredible candied bacon, the Napa burger, Brussel sprouts. It was all delicious. We will definitely be back.“

“I have gluten allergy. I been eating here for a few years now. I always get the breakfast sampler. They can substitute the pancakes and put blueberries on them. Yum. If you order the eggs over easy, it will come out more done than you like. Like over medium or over hard. I only got it right like a handful of times from eating here. Friends do like chocolate pancakes. I had a friend who said theor French toast is good. Steak will come more medium well or we'll done if you order it. Hashbrowns don't use flower to make them crispy so they are safe. Ham has some grill marks on it. So it's always nice. My bacon always came out crispy from what remember. They got better after 2022. I don't see the same faces as much anymore. I might eat there once every 3 months and don't usually see the same staff. But the quality got better except for what I mentioned earlier. Service speed is hit or miss. I can't tell ya a pattern yet. There's a park behind it which is nice to walk off what you ate if you like. I give it 4 stars overall since I mostly have a positive experience and no reaction when I tell them I have a gluten allergy even when my friends do not.“
