“Fantastic Meal! We had the "splurge meal" of our trip here and it was divine. The Rosemary Cheddar Popovers were still hot and so delicious, my fiancé had the lobster bisque and really enjoyed it. I had the Lobster Escargot and haven't stopped thinking it since. I went online at the table and ordered an escargot pan on Amazon to make this at home. HIGHLY suggest this appetizer. I opted for the wedge salad with my steak (odd to me that they upcharge for bacon on a a wedge) and it was fine, my fiancé really enjoyed his house salad and said it was crisp and refreshing and the dressing was perfect. He opted for the 10pz filet, it was soft and flavorful, I had the Ribeye and the char was perfection. I wish we weren't traveling and I could have brought the rest with me. We split the mashed potato's and they were perfect. Our server, Chastity, was awesome. Very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. 5/5 all around.“

“I had to give the food a 3 this time. The porterhouse tasted totally unseasoned and overcooked. We didn't fuss about it because it was a celebration and it's normally done right but this is the second time it was like this. The ribeye however was great and one sprinkle away from being over seasoned. The kids Kraft Mac n cheese was a hit! The sides and salads were great too. We have been to other locations and usually have consistent food. This location may be going through some changes in the kitchen or something. Our server was fantastic and attentive.We will most likely be back. But wish we could trust consistency in your food items, especially steaks.“
“I can confirm the nostalgic feel from bout 40ish years ago!!! The food was good and service efficient. Seems like the only thing missing is cigarette smoke along with the smell of coffee, plates clacking together, some indistinct food cooking oder (probly breakfast) and music playing in da background...“
“Came here to visit on a Wednesday night, first time at this location, let me tell you , let me tell you again this was absolutely amazing the customer service of the hostess and the server was amazing, love the environment the atmosphere the texan style… and the food omg have been blessed i order a New York steak medium well it was delicious and super juicy , plus the mac and cheese was fantastic, my server was Luke z he took care of me really well.“

I normally order a sirloin, but have had all of their cuts of meat at one time or another, and have never been disappointed. They’ve got a great list of appetizers, as well as sides. I typically order the green beans and loaded mashed potatoes. TR is conveniently located, and easily accessible from I-35. You can reserve a table using their app, which will greatly minimize your wait time.“
