I can confirm the nostalgic feel from bout 40ish years ago!!! The food was good and service efficient. Seems like the only thing missing is cigarette smoke along with the smell of coffee, plates clacking together, some indistinct food cooking oder (probly breakfast) and music playing in da background...
It’s my first time here while visiting Waco. The first time I walked in I was so surprised to see the restaurant. It made me feel I was on different year like maybe 1980s. Everybody was so welcoming and the waitress was so nice , you don’t have to ask her what you need. My food was ready less than 7mins, everybody was so so awesome! I'm giving 3 stars for the service and atmosphere. I was really rooting for the food to be delicious. Walked in and was seated immediately. Waitress came right over and filled up our coffees and never let them run dry. We ordered an omelet and the steak and eggs. No flavor AT ALL. Got hash browns, no flavor and they were cold.
