We tried this spot for a nice little dinner to celebrate some recent accomplishments in our lives and I'm glad I chose it. We made a reservation for 9:30pm but because this place was close to where we live we decided to go an hour earlier and I was worried they may have a long wait but we walked right in and got sat at a nice booth table for 2 towards the back. We had a new waitress who had only been on the job four days. She did a great job and will make a great addition to the staff. Our salad and pizza were worth the visit to La Riv. We will definitely be back.
Food was delicious. Shelby was very attentive and made our experience memorable. We will go back!!

Meals like the Ahi Tuna appetizer, Oak Fire Salmon, Bucatini Pasta, Short Rib Pappardelle, Chocolate Cake, Steak Tartare, and tuna crudo are all excellent. The service is always pleasant and attentive, with polite and accommodating servers who are educated on the menu. The restaurant has a vast wine and cocktail menu, including some of the best mocktails. It is considered the best Italian anywhere in central Texas and a local favorite.
