The food here tasted amazing today! It was cooked fairly simply, but the flavors were excellent. They have a large menu for such a small place and we both tried something we hadn't had before. Both of our meals had beef, chicken and shrimp, but hers had sausage and a large intact grilled onion with the green stem still intact - wonderful flavor!Not a downside for us, but the staff only spoke Spanish. If that's a problem, use Goggle Translate - the food was worth it.
Wow! can't believe I just found this wonderful restaurant! Saw the place a few weeks ago while picking up my dry cleaning, and popped in to check it out. The menu seemed very different from the typical Austin Mexican restaurant, so definitely something I wanted to try. We came in today and were blown away by the delicious food. Taqueria Chapala is a gem! Parking is a breeze, and once inside, you can indulge in their mouthwatering Asada Burrito – it is packed with flavor and perfectly cooked meat. Their molcajete is a culinary masterpiece, and the breakfast tacos are a delightful morning treat. Don't forget to pair your meal with their delicious coffee for the perfect dining experience. I can't get enough of this place, so I keep coming back for more.
