I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years now - currently live in Austin and will drive up to see my family to justify eating here for dinner. My sister has even driven up from San Antonio just to meet me here for Sunday lunch. Massive portions of amazing food, great service, and reasonable prices. Hands down the best Chinese food in RR/Austin metro. 10/10 would recommend.“

“The service and food was great! I don't think I appreciated the food to it's fullest and extent because I have yet to grasp the esoteric art of chopstick-wielding. My brother greatly enjoyed the food, in particular, the fried rice. I would highly recommend.

“The Shrimp Teriyaki was good. I do wish the salad wasn’t put with the hot food. It makes it hot too and mushy. The big bowl with extra veggies doesn’t travel well and there aren’t many veggies on this like advertised, and didn’t taste that well. It was soupy. The lettuce wraps were okay. “Highly recommend. The food is fresh and scrumptious every time. I ordered the #4 Tofu Bowl this last time. Amazingly good, nice presentation, colorful and fresh veggies! Tofu was a yummy, large pieces with a generous amount in the bowl. The magic sauce is so good.“

“We came for dinner with a fairly large group and shared several dishes among everyone.
Starting with the space, the indoor area felt quite small, especially because there was a long line of people waiting to order food. That made the interior feel crowded and a bit tight, particularly since some of the tables were very close to the line. There are many tables outside, which helps, and we were lucky to be there on a cooler day. However, I imagine it could be challenging during the summer with Austin’s humidity.
The tables themselves were a bit small. Since we were sharing dishes, it was sometimes difficult to figure out how to arrange everything because there wasn’t much space.
Overall, the place was quite clean. The restroom was also very clean and smelled nice, even though there were many people constantly going in and out.
The servers were very attentive and friendly, and the drinks were very good. The food was decent nothing extraordinary but nothing bad either. Just solid and enjoyable. I do like the concept of combining a smokehouse with seafood, and the menu makes that concept pretty clear.
The location is excellent. Being on Domain Drive is very convenient because I was able to walk back to my hotel and also easily walk to other places where our group continued the evening.
My biggest complaint would probably be the space and table size. However, for a small gathering or a more casual meal, it works quite well. In terms of food, the price-to-quality ratio seemed pretty reasonable. Since we were a large group, the dishes came out spaced apart as they were ready, which actually worked well for sharing.

I tried the Mongolian Beef and also tried some of the Asian items and they were all good. I really hope the quality stays as it was simply delicious. “We have been coming to Fire Bowl for years. Always have great food and good service. I really love the spicy coconut soup. Honestly the main reason I come here. Today Lily was exceptional and made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us several times. For it being a counter service restaurant I really appreciated that.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. I always order from Chefs Special Menu which is higher price than regular lunch. Today we tried bock Choi which has very unique taste. We were told this is different bock Choi vegetable and it is the original Chinese vegetable. It does look different and has darker green color. We also tried trout fish in very tasty black beans sause. One of our favorite dish is eggplant with pork. And the last dish we had is pork fried rice which my loves.“

“A new location of the fast casual health food restaurant in North Austin. Their healing cabbage soup is what keeps me coming back. Loaded with veggies in a very tasty slightly spicy broth. You can also build your own plate by selecting a carb, protein, and veggie or green. I usually get their almond ginger, but went for the spicy teriyaki this time. Very different from the normal salty and roasted teriyaki flavor, but still very tasty. Nancys uses the freshest ingredients and the portions sizes are great. This is not really a sit-down restaurant, but they have added some tables and chairs. The General Tso chicken is prob THE BEST I've ever ever had, and it's to go!!!! The chicken is crispy under the sauce and is not soggy. It is sooooo good!! The sesame chicken is one of my go-to dishes for lunch time. The beef and broccoli is always good and one of my go-to dishes. The black pepper steak is pretty much the same as the beef and broccoli but with bell peppers and onions, which I prefer. You have the option of getting white rice or Fried rice with your dishes, its not full of flavor, but it was not oily either, so I prefer that. The white flat noodles, think it was Pad ke mao, and it was very tasty with a little heat. My new fav hole in the wall, I would definitely come back again. “My roommate and I came from CorePower across the street, hungry and famished and looking absolutely crazy drenched in sweat. We didn’t read the sign and I yanked on the door handle because it was closed. The manager was so sweet though and he let us in, brought us water, served us food, asked if we wanted fish sauce to go, and told us that we didn’t need to clean when we left because even at home his wife doesn’t need to do anything. Just for the service alone I would give 5 stars but the food was also great; she got chicken vermicelli and I got beef.“

“These days it’s so rare to find a place that employs a shining star. People who go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Let me tell you guys about Joseph. I went in to pick up my order. Just an order of steamed dumplings. That was it. While I was waiting a polite young man asked me if there was anything else I wanted. Surprisingly I said some sweet tea if they had it. Not only did he pack up the tea for me but he put it in one of those plastic containers they usually use for soup. A large one. As if that wasn’t enough he went out of his way to cut a hole in the lid and put a straw in it for me! I was shocked and amazed that this nice young man had extended himself to go out of his way to do this. People just don’t think to go the extra mile anymore but Joseph did and as a result they have a loyal customer in me for good. Well done Ruby Garden. You guys have a gem of an employee. That’s how you gain and keep customers. Thank you for the delicious dumplings and the stellar customer service! 😊👏🏼“

“I’ve been trying out Kuhblai Khan lately as I had never had it before and always passed it driving in and out of Austin. I gotta say this place is a hidden gem and is very under rated! The staff are very nice, and they took great care of me when I brought up a concern about my noodles being wrong. They fixed my order by making me the udon noodles I had originally wanted, not to mention I got an extra order of calamari! The food was delicious and the portion size was great for the price I paid. After my experience tonight this has made Khublai Khan my go to Mongolian Grill! Highly recommend!“

The appetizers came out very quick (we were the only customers btw) and very good, we got crab wontons and pork potstickers which were both very impressive. As soon as our apps were out we put our order in, I got the combo deal which is Beef, Chicken, & Shrimp which is an awesome combo, with Mongolian sauce, My wife also the combo deal but with Orange Peel. Our food came out as soon as our apps were done which the speed was also incredible, food was very delicious and was a big serving too. The best part of all is that our ticket was only $60 and thats pretty good considering we got 2 appetizers. Would 100% go back and recommend.“
