“Incredibly delicious and authentic Indonesian food! My wife and I ate there today, and wow was it good! It took us back to the street food in Jakarta. The ayam bakar (grilled chicken) meal was perfectly cooked and tasted so authentic. Crispy skin, moist chicken, rice and lalapan (lalapan is like a salad - it’s fresh lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, y’all get the idea) The yellow rice (nasi kuning) had that unique coconut fragrance that immediately brought back memories. The homemade sambal (hot sauce) was straight up delicious and if you like spicy, this is for you. It’s pretty spicy, but doesn’t set ya on fire ya know? Highly recommend this spot! Good Indonesian food is hard to find, period. Sate Texas BBQ brings those Indonesian flavors to Texas in a big way! We can’t wait to go back, Selamat Makan!! (Enjoy the food, y’all)!“

“Hao-Hao Vietnamese & Chinese Cuisine is one of the few places left that actually does Egg Foo Young right. That dish alone puts them in a different category for me. The Egg Foo Young was excellent. Proper texture, rich gravy, and clearly made with care rather than rushed.

The rest of the food was just as solid. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was fresh and flavorful, the Crab Wontons were crisp without being greasy, and even the rice was cooked properly, which is something many places overlook.

Yes, it is on the pricier side. But I am more than willing to pay a higher price when the food quality justifies it, and here it absolutely does. Portions were fair, flavors were consistent, and nothing felt like a shortcut.

The dining room is calm and comfortable, pickup was smooth, and the focus here is clearly on doing things right rather than pushing volume. If you care about quality over cheap, especially for classic dishes like Egg Foo Young, this place is worth it.“

“I stumbled upon this place when a nearby restaurant was closed. I was surprised that it was set up as a takeout preferred restaurant. Regardless, there were a couple tables so I decided to eat there. It was a little strange but the staff was friendly about it. I think they could do some bar tables for people that just want to eat and go.

As for the food, I enjoyed it. I’m guessing the new management has made some improvement because I’m seeing some bad reviews from the past. But my experience was good. Food was better than Panda Express at a similar price point. With the right expectations, this place is definitely worth it.“

The big bowl with extra veggies doesn’t travel well and there aren’t many veggies on this like advertised, and didn’t taste that well. It was soupy. The lettuce wraps were okay. “It is really good. Have to try the stir fried noodle🍜, it was really good! Also try the spicy edamame 🫛. Vegan noodle 🍲 is also really good! There is a tv📺 going on which is fun to watch! And you can watch live noodle making while you wait for your food. They also give you scissors✂️ and kids👫 chopsticks! 🥢“

“My family and I have been going to Kublai Khan for years. We enjoy coming back and enjoying our meals here. I personally enjoy the robot delivering our sushi to our table. We also get the bowl to prepare a dish and it's pretty cool that we get to play with different sauces and ingredients.“

Really good phodacbiet, triple delight lunch special is a great value, all soups are good, and the vermicelli is amazing. Also they have great jasmine iced tea my favorite tea anywhere.“

This sauce can be purchased for a home condiment at $10 a jar(chili, oil, and great seasoning). I went on a Sunday evening. If you can spare some time, be patient as the small staff is managing a few table inside and to go orders. Worth the wait.“
