The food is just awful. We ordered French toast, and got the heels of the bread. The sausage looked, smelled, and tasted like cat food. Everything was haphazardly cut and was just bad. The scrambled eggs weren't scrambled, and there was like thought of cheese on the eggs. Idk how you can mess up French toast and scrambled eggs, but they sure did. I'm done eating at Kerbey Lane. it's just so bad, and has been getting bad for years. I miss old Austin.
We arrived at 9:40, they have a 10:00 closing time. Were told the kitchen is already closed, they refused to seat us unless we just wanted drinks. I asked to see a manager, was told manager was busy closing the store. I've worked in many restaurants--if your posted closing time is 10, you seat and feed people until 10.
