“Beaux Southern Seafood is an absolute gem and easily one of the best seafood restaurants I have visited in the Austin area. The menu perfectly captures the spirit of Southern coastal cooking with dishes that are bold flavorful and deeply satisfying. Every bite we had was fresh and expertly prepared and you can tell that real care goes into sourcing quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the presentation of each dish was beautiful without feeling overly fussy. The restaurant itself has a wonderfully warm and inviting ambiance that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Our server was knowledgeable passionate about the menu and made excellent recommendations that we were very happy with. The drinks menu also impressed us with some really creative options that paired perfectly with the food. Beaux Southern Seafood is the kind of place that sets the standard for what a great seafood restaurant should be and we will absolutely be back.“

“Legit fried catfish & shrimp poboy. For real. Cajun here and my first visit. The bread was right, catfish was right. Shrimp were right (not those panko battered, butterfly, frozen looking things). Remoulade and slaw and tomato was right. Price was right. For $10.99 incl. fries, they did everything right.“

“This place has become our go-to for great Chinese food at a great price! It's super quick, the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and they have fast delivery too. Not only do they have a ton of Chinese food dishes, they have a few really good Vietnamese options on the menu too. You can't beat their Wok on Fire Special menu: which is basically the price of the dish at any other place but also comes with an egg roll, cup of soup, and 2 chicken wings. Great Chinese food and best value around for sure.“

“This place has the freshest meat and best prices I’ve seen in 30 years, i was so glad to find it when i lived in South Austin since there wasn’t many halal stores around. I love that most of the spices are non gmo.
The cashier lady from Nepal is friendly, polite and helpful, unlike some indo/pak stores I’ve shopped. The owner was up front about where he gets his meat, it’s pasture and humanely raised, which its important to me.
Not all halal stores sell natural, humanely raised meat. Not all “halal” meat is zabihah.
You can get a great deal when you buy 20 or 40 lb boxes of chicken leg quarters.“

“We made a reservation here for my boyfriend’s birthday and had an amazing time! We sat outside on the deck, and the ambiance was great. The sourdough and smoked salmon dip was delicious and everyone loved their entrees. Molly, our server, was absolutely fantastic! She brought a dessert out for my boyfriend with a candle at the end of our meal and played a harmonica while we sang happy birthday. We couldn’t have asked for a better night. Will be back again!“
