“We randomly found this place because we were in town for a wedding. We simply walked by and saw the name and caught our attention. We've tried alot of Oyster places and we didnt know what to expect. This place is our to go to EVERYTIME we come to town now. The oyster are fresh and didnt realize they had a couple options depending on where they are from. So far we've come to try something new on the menu each time but always our to go to is the oysters. I can definitely say nothing on the menu so far is a disappointment and we've tried atleast 70% of their menu. Definitely a recommended place!“

“We had a table for nine after church on a Sunday so it took a while to be seated. But the wait was worth it! Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent service. Great food. We’ve never been disappointed and it remains one of our favorite places to go for the past 30 years.“

“My family has always loved The Reel and eat there often. We received a favor gift card after our 2nd child and decided to use it to have dinner delivered by Favor from The Reel. I was very disappointed in my stuffed flounder. There was no Avocado, cherry tomatoes or lump crab on it and it seemed more like the lunch portion than the $39.20 dinner portion I usually get. lesson learned I guess as I feel this is on The Reel and not our Favor driver.“

“Our server was Amazing, hands down she immediate identified the simplest things, by identifying what our concerns were on the menu from ingredients to portion size.
Your options for seating is simple indoors with ceiling fans or outdoors under country/farm style shade, with fans and misters. It sits right over the river with exceptional views. Thier restrooms are country/farm style, depending on which restrooms you use.
This was our third visit because we enjoy the atmosphere. The near by shops are authentic and not so commercial like other locations.“

“My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Myron's June 18, 2024. Our hostess Monica was wonderful. She was courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our steaks were prepared to perfection. The wine complimented our meal. The atmosphere was very inviting. The food is worth every cent. I hope visit there again the next time we're in San Antonio. S. Sanders“

“Lazy J is hands down the best crawfish ever! The flavor is amazing and he doesn’t care if there’s a line, he does not sacrifice quality for quantity. He’s ruined any other crawfish for me 🤣 I will only eat at lazy j!!“

“First and foremost, the biggest disappointment is that there’s no longer a Long John Silvers in the City that we live in north any nearby cities so we had to travel a few miles meaning hours to this location. First walking in, we were immediately greeted by the cashier who simultaneously was also taking orders. Her greeting was authentic and friendly and welcoming. Have fun making our order. She was so loving and caring by the way her name is Jackie!!! .❤ there is no way you want better than seeing her as soon as you walk in with the service that she provided with above and beyond it was literally 5 Star service as if I ordered $150 steak wrapped in gold! Thank you Jackie for making this not only a wonderful experience for me, but I want full experience for my husband and everyone who got to interact with you today! In this day and age we are very lucky to have you!
This type of service is not a norm in the industry and we just wanna let you know how appreciative we are of how you treated us! ❤“

“The atmosphere there is so home like. Amazing staff and awesome food. We ordered a small onion rings and it looked like a large. My son got the catfish and I got the chicken fried chicken. Omg this is the best home cooked food . We will be returning.“
