“My first visit was impressive. Mahi Mahi Boudreaux was on point. The crawfish cream sauce was very tasty. I was not pleased with spices in dirty rice. The boldness did not pair well with sauce. Lobster bisque nicely done with a mildly spicy kick. The ‘Post Master’ (Hurricane) was a bit tart to my liking. Beautiful decor with a history stretching back to 1915 when the building was the New Braunfels post office. McAdoo’s could be a monthly repeat soon. Stuffed flounder on my mind.“

“not only a great place to eat, but as you can tell from the last part of the name and awesome place to drink! Lively spot close to the sqare and lots of parking around the area if you can walk a block or two. Very friendly staff and best of all clean bathrooms too.“

“We had a table for nine after church on a Sunday so it took a while to be seated. But the wait was worth it! Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent service. Great food. We’ve never been disappointed and it remains one of our favorite places to go for the past 30 years.“

“My family has always loved The Reel and eat there often. We received a favor gift card after our 2nd child and decided to use it to have dinner delivered by Favor from The Reel. I was very disappointed in my stuffed flounder. There was no Avocado, cherry tomatoes or lump crab on it and it seemed more like the lunch portion than the $39.20 dinner portion I usually get. lesson learned I guess as I feel this is on The Reel and not our Favor driver.“

“We have enjoyed dinner at GRG numerous times but last night was phenomenal! I tried the fajita dinner and it was so good! Large tacos filled with perfectly seasoned steak, pickled red onion, feta cheese, tomato and homemade salsa. It was served with a seasoned rice side that was also wonderful. It comes with avocado but I’m not a fan so 86’d it. Hubby had steak and said it was also wonderful. Cooked perfectly to his medium rare and topped with a compound butter that added another level of seasoning. Served with a side of potatoes and green beans, it was a beautiful plate. Our server was great and the atmosphere was very nice. We will be back again soon and can’t wait to try more of their yummy dishes.“

“My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Myron's June 18, 2024. Our hostess Monica was wonderful. She was courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our steaks were prepared to perfection. “We ordered on a Sunday around 1215 for lunch today and the place was clean. Was greeted by a friendly person. The food came out quickly, tasted great and was freshly made. The coleslaw was great as well. I ordered clam strips and they were cooled perfect. Would highly recommend and will repeat business.“
