“Consistently delicious. Spinach artichoke dip what is awesome, as well as the Mushroom soup, bistro Burger, buttermilk fried Chicken jalapeno gravy. Ice-T was clear clean and crisp. They were very busy still service was excellent.Restroom was tidy. We'll be back again.“
“First time visiting in and out. Was beyond satisfied. From the food to the staff. Yet one beautiful employee stood out in particular. She goes by Kimberly. Not only was she the first person to greet my family and I, she had the 1/10million aura and passion about herself and views of life. Felt like I knew her all my life within the few minutes speaking to her, and without hesitation I would go above and beyond for a soul like hers. I wish for her anything and everything in life as it can easily be understood she deserves it; Whenever visiting this location, please give her a proper respect, as she’s the type to inspire and instill faith in mankind. Much love Kimberly “
“Came in from out of town to visit this Legendary Place in New Braunfels, TX. The Burgers were absolutely magnificent. I don't normally eat fries, but sampled some Tater Tots. I also has the salad, and it was wonderful, too! I just wish I had a bigger appetite to try everything, but this establishment differentiates its products by having a beef & pork patty, which adds a wonderful dimension of flavor to the food. The restaurant also has an excellent, well-curated beer selection. Will definitely return!Vegetarian options: There is the veggies & pickle dip option if you don't want fries or Tater Tots. The pickle dip is really good!“
“We ate here a while ago and honestly weren't impressed. We were in the area a few weeks ago and I was craving salmon. So we stopped in for lunch. We noticed the oyster special on Tuesdays and had to try it. This is now our go to place! Very accommodating for my dairy allergy. The oysters are huge and the house margaritas are amazing!“
“We live in Cibolo & don't travel out of our "bubble" too much, but drove to New Braunfels on a Saturday afternoon just to go try UBP Burgers after seeing photos on Facebook & IT. WAS. DELICIOUS!! It was juicy & flavorful. We also had the crispy chicken loaded fries & we loved them, they were just like the photos. We will definitely be going back.“
“A pretty good spot for everyone, the kids run around and play in the play area, live music was going on, food is your typical burger joint. Would definitely return in the future. Only complaints is it seems a little high priced, but you are paying for the atmosphere. I didn't see any access for wheelchairs and the bathrooms are in desperate need of upgrading and cleaning.“
“Recently camped River Road and didn't get camp setup until after dark. We stopped at Koozies for drinks and a bite to eat just before close. Rather them be annoyed by our late show, they were more then accommodating. Amanda and their staff were nothing less then amazing while being hospitable at the same time. I cannot recommend this little spot enough. We will be frequenting this place every time we come back to River Road to camp. Thank you all again for a great experience!“
“Best burger in New Braunfels. Hands down. I’d go here for a burger even if it wasn’t on the river!!Vegetarian options: For a shack on the river, they have an impressive selection of veg options ??Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly ON THE WEEKDAYS. I wouldn’t take kids here in the weekends.“
“A nice spot that brought back some fun memories from 1981-1982, when I was a 7-8 year old living in New Braunfels. While the town has grown IMMENSELY in the last 42-43 years, it's nice to see a few of my childhood memories still in tact, and serving up food just as delicious as I remembered.“
“This was the perfect place for 12 of us Winter Texans to gather for one of our last times this 'winter'. Our waiter, Jonathon H. was fantastic. He repeated each order for clarification and was attentive to all of our needs. His diligence and friendly demeanor was a delight!“
“If you haven't been to P Terry's, then you need to! Not only is the food great, but from Austin to San Antonio ( and any in between) you know what to expect! From what I understand, this is Pat Terry and his wife... that means every location does it the same... and I like the way Pat likes it! I only wish Pat liked onion rings!Ps- I ALWAYS get aTerry's!Cont in " about parking"Parking: Varies by location... some seem to be more drive thru oriented, but the drive thrus are efficient and friendly. ( I literally have NEVER had an unfriendly encounter at P Terry's! ) not sure I can say that about any other chain except In/Out Burger, and I've been to 10× more P Terrys!“
“This place has great atmosphere! I love the indoor/ outdoor patio built around big trees. It's walking distance from the river but also has parking and is wheelchair accessible. Their chips are excellent, puffy and crispy. The guacamole is incredibly creamy. The salsa and queso was the perfect amount of spicy. We loved the sizzling beef fajitas and quesadilla. This place has had been there for years. It's a nice spot to have lunch it dinner after a long day at the river.“
“Giving it 5 stars for the venue (beer garden) and the band. Texas Tide, the band was excellent a must see. Heavy on Buffett, but this was a Buffett themed event. I don't think they anticipated the crowd and were overwhelmed. The regulars I spoke to said they usually operated like a well oiled machine. Oh, and the food and beer selection was awesome....get there early.“
“Very awesome customer service and best pizza. Not flooded with sauce. Great flavor.Parking: There is parking in front, side and back of business.Kid-friendliness: Plentiful area to sit, and there are retro games in the back room for kids to play.“
“Our server, Avery, was top-notch. She was attentive and friendly in a way that made us feel like we already knew each other...no fake about her. The food wasn't bad. The the beer cheese (for the pub pretzels) was thinner than it used to be. The "steamed" broccoli wasn't (steamed), but it tasted good. It seemed like my daughter's garlic bread stick was deep-fried, but the pasta was good. Avery's pleasant personality and attention to detail made up for where the food was lacking. I will say I think they were short on servers (or maybe cooks?) tonight, so that may have affected the food quality. Overall, we enjoyed our visit!“
“Came to this dairy queen the other day through the drive thru and i asked for a large vanilla shake as I explained I needed it because I am diabetic. The young man taking my order proceeded to say “I can tell” which was very confusing because he couldn’t even see me yet. When I got to the window, the same employee was there, his name tag said Frank and he then started making uncomfortable small talk about my condition like “what’s it like to break a sweat by standing up?” and when I asked him how he knew I was diabetic he told me he could smell me as I drove in. Very strange customer service and to be honest I am more confused than upset. The vanilla shake was great as always though! Best shakes in Texas!“
“I go for the liver and onions served once a month! When you don't have a kitchen you want to have those goodies you grew up with. Service is always good and the servers pleasant. I've gone there on dates, and had the steak which is great also. The best thing is this is a fund raiser for the Elks, so your money spent goes to a good cause, and not to make someone rich enough to buy that Land Rover to go with their tricked out dually. Last time I went, a very nice person asked me to join she and her mother. What a kind thing to do!! We had a long chat about this and that, and apparently they knew every one in town. I've seen lots of hugging among the guests and staff, so that tells you something, doesn't it? Good food, good service, and it benefits a good cause.“
“Had dinner there and the food was fantastic. There was a very curly heeaddd young man behind counter making the food and he was one of the nicest and most attentive young men I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with. I hope they give him a raise.“
“Amazing… food was really good and the server knew all about each menu item and wasn’t shy about making recommendations when asked! Bring someone with you and check this place out!Parking could be better but I’d walk a mile after the food and service.“
