“I have been passing this restaurant for months and finally decided to eat here and I was very impressed! The food was Outstanding, the atmosphere was nice, and I was surprised it wasn’t very full because it was a very good restaurant. It’s nice to have something other than Mexican and Asian food. Boerne, we need to support this restaurant because I really hope it stays around to give us an affordable, good food alternative. It is well prepared Cajun food!“

“We love this place. Everything we have ordered has been excellent and consistent. Tonight we decided to order 2 filet mignons to go. I was a bit skeptical about “to go” filets, especially since we live miles away, but that’s what I wanted so that’s what we got. Not only was the meal absolutely delicious, they wrapped everything so it was all still hot when we got home. Now I have to add yet another favorite to my list of Hungry Horse meals… thanks guys!!! When I finally made it to the right one and explained my mistake, the Hwy 151 team kindly remade my food so I wouldn’t have to eat something that had been sitting for a while — all without me even asking. This small act of kindness meant so much. I told my baby that day that when you can, offer people as much grace as possible and be kind — because you never know what someone might be going through. “I’ve been coming to La Laguna for a long time and honestly this was probably the best experience we’ve had there so far. The second we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and seated right away. As soon as we sat down, the bread, chips, side sauces and waters came out immediately, which I always appreciate because nobody wants to sit there forever waiting for the basics.

Within minutes a gentleman named Ethson walked over and introduced himself, checked on me and my girlfriend and asked how everything was going and if we needed anything. He was extremely pleasant and what stood out to me was that he was not just checking on our table. I kept seeing him walking around talking to multiple tables and being very hands on. You can tell there is effort being put into the experience.

I honestly never understood why this place wasn’t packed because the food quality has always been amazing. The portions are huge but not in an over the top tacky way. It feels authentic and like you are actually getting what you paid for.

I had the Monterrey Roll and the Sonoma salad with crab and both were incredible. My girlfriend ordered a few other things and everything that hit the table looked amazing.

The manager checked on us at least three or four times which almost never happens anymore. Customer service these days can be hit or miss, but this felt very personal.

My husband works with Hilton and I could absolutely see this being a great place for corporate dinners or events with the back room setup. We have not had that conversation yet but I am looking forward to it.

We will definitely be bringing more attorneys and law firms here. Great food, great service and one of the best experiences we have had in a long time.“
