“Very good, fresh food. Atmosphere was bright, colorful, cheerful and welcoming. The lady at the register was rude, cold and no eye contact. We asked another worker there if the cashier was ok. The worker explained that the cashier had a very hurt body part and she was in pain. I felt for her. It's hard to act happy& cordial when your body part is throbbing. We get itI would think they'd find someone to take over her shift and allow her to take her pain meds and stay home until the employee feels better.I'ts worrysome that an employee would be forced to work when they're obviously in pain. It doesn't matter if it's family or not. That's the reason for my 3 stars. We'll be back, as we like to travel.?Parking: It gets very busy and parking gets full quick. It's a popular spot?Wheelchair accessibility: Yes? I use a Walker.“
“A great Texas hole in the wall. I took a friend of mine there from Europe. He said this is what Europeans think of when they think of Texas. Food is good, beer is cold, and service is friendly. You will see bikers, Cowboys, hippies, and city slickers enjoying themselves. Great people watching place. And did I say the beer is cold?“
“I hosted an event at The Richter last week in their NEW room next to Cork & Keg. Joi and her staff were super awesome. All my guests we well taken care of and the food and service were great! I would highly recommend hosting an event with them.“
“3.21.24 stopped in for lunch and had a sausage/brisket poboy. 3 slices of brisket and a sausage link with a little sauce, pickle and onions on a hogie roll for $10.99. Very good and filling. Counter service , basic seating area, friendly staff. They also had some nice looking steaks and other meats in their display cases along with other jarred items.“
“I know not every visit or visit could have the experience I had but let say my time at Joshua Creek was beyond words.Rooms: I didn't say in any of the rooms so no help from me.Nearby activities: Multiple range, creek for fishing, upland bird (pheasant, chukar, quail, duck), skeet shooting, deer.Safety: They were on their game with peoples safety.Walkability: The areas of the property that I walked were very easy to walk.Food & drinks: The lunch I was serviced was simple, nice and tasted good.Noteworthy details: The guide Terry & his dogs worked awesome.“
“Best BBQ in Boerne. Is there more to say? Generous portions. Great prices! You could go get a prime rib on main street and pay twice as much for half the quality. The prime rib is to die for, but really everything is amazing here. They don't know how to do mediocre. One last thing. The kids they have working there are amazing. Great customer service and communication. Love Fritz'sVegetarian options: The baked potatoes are a full meal, without meat. Lots of good side options too. And the prices are very reasonable at about $10 for a full vegetarian meal.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere. Very down to earth. Big roll of heavy duty paper towels at every table. And roomy booths.“
“Very nice place to hangout. The food was average. I wasn't impressed. I had the shrimp soup and it was very salty. I also had the birria tacos and nothing great to say about them either. The beer and wine selections is decent. For the most part the place is great for atmosphere and food just to take your hunger away. Food is okay. The service was good. You order when you come in the. You take your number and sit. The guys was friendly and helpful at the register. I'll come back again.“
“Ate lunch at this restaurant after a round of golf. The chicken sandwich and vegetable beef soup were both outstanding! This restaurant is nice and has high standards so come accordingly. Service was very pleasant and helpful as well. Highly recommended!“
“Love, love, love, the Dodging Duck! My wife and I have been coming here since the time it first opened its doors. It is a bi-annual pilgrimage for me when I make it home to SAT every 6 months of so from my work overseas. We'll see you all for our pretzel and beers and dinner in April!“
“Our first time here the wait was a little long but it was definitely worth it plus it was very crowded and one guy cooking so it's understandable, the omelette with sausage and bacon I ordered was huge and delicious the sausage tasted Soo fresh we also ordered biscuits and gravy and man their gravy is the best I've ever had gravy is always hit or miss to me too runny no taste or too thick and tastes more like oatmeal but they do it perfect here, when we finished we where very full and satisfied, we will definitely be back, I slightly hit them on atmosphere only because it was cold outside that morning but it was also cold inside the cafe.“
“This tavern is a diamond in the rough. It has an extremely large outdoor area with a nice play area for kids. The menu has a good selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wings (bone-in, boneless, and tenders), pizzas, salads, even a kids menu. It has a very laid back vibe and a good selection of beer, booze, and wine. Definitely going back!“
“The restaurant is simply first class, white linen tables decorated with roses and the entire restaurant presented a beautiful ambience. The food was superb. Service equally fantastic, We had crab cakes for an appetizer and being from New Orleans I was skeptical that it would be a good choice but boy was I surprised with how well it was prepared. Just excellent. The blackened halibut was lightly blackened and prepared perfectly. A must if you eat there. Likewise, the snapper was delicious. Most desserts were made in house and all will more than satisfy the sweetest tooth. Overall on a 0-10 scale I give the Creeks a 12! It's definitely now my favorite restaurant in Boerne and the surrounding areas. Also you can eat outside on a beautifully decked out area overlooking water. What more can you ask for? Oh, a good musician? They had that as well!“
