“1st time I have been there. 2 birthday parties going on. Great place for kids to play while adults socialize. Had live music and it was decent. Beer/wine venue. Food truck was available and very long wait as one party had 60 guests. I was the only person wearing a mask.“
“3.21.24 stopped in for lunch and had a sausage/brisket poboy. 3 slices of brisket and a sausage link with a little sauce, pickle and onions on a hogie roll for $10.99. Very good and filling. Counter service , basic seating area, friendly staff. They also had some nice looking steaks and other meats in their display cases along with other jarred items.“
“Best BBQ in Boerne. Is there more to say? Generous portions. Great prices! You could go get a prime rib on main street and pay twice as much for half the quality. The prime rib is to die for, but really everything is amazing here. They don't know how to do mediocre. One last thing. The kids they have working there are amazing. Great customer service and communication. Love Fritz'sVegetarian options: The baked potatoes are a full meal, without meat. Lots of good side options too. And the prices are very reasonable at about $10 for a full vegetarian meal.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere. Very down to earth. Big roll of heavy duty paper towels at every table. “Christmas Eve our plans took an unexpected twist and we had no food for company. Called Smokey MO’s and food was all but on the table! When we picked up our order, Everyone was smiling and so in the Spirit of Christmas it was an uplifting experience. Thanks for being there for us. Merry Christmas. Oh! The food was good, too.“
“I’m not really big on doing reviews but I felt like this location deserves one. The staff here is always so friendly. My family and I come every Sunday after church and on Wednesdays. The managers are on top of it here and have a great staff.“
“First time in TR, great service! even the manager went to our table checking if we were good! We had to wait for an hour but I heard there is an APP where you can add yourself to the waiting list. Couldn't finish my steak (I was full), I wanted it well done but still had some red in it, but the taste was perfect. I already missed TR. They really make you feel special.Parking: Had to park in front of the chicken wings restaurant, it's far but not that far.“
“Welp, I'm not from Texas. So what do I know about BBQ. I do know what tastes good...AND this is some fine tasting Q! I had the half chicken. It was a lot chicken and super moist. Paired with the "Rudy's BAR-BQ Sauce" it's a yum in every bit. I loved the old school vibe, staff was friendly and the line to order, although long, was not that bad. Besides, there's some tasty Q on the other side. Don't forget to grab that Peach Cobbler for dessert!“
“Tres and his team at Black Board bbq know what they’re doing. The flavor was incredible, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was totally Texas! What a nice little hidden gym in the Hill Country. I’m salivating just thinking about my next visit.“
