I'm so used to the serving sizes other barbecue places give for that amount, that I was astonished at the amount of sausage and brisket I was given. There were about 10 cars in front of me in the drive thru line but within 14 minutes I was in and out of the parking lot.
My kids love the buckaroo chicken tender meal, very fair in size it almost seems to be the size of a regular combo #4. Only difference that I noticed is a kids drink versus a regular sized cup.
Bonus points for the brownie with nut dessert included 🙂 $6.30 for this meal“

“I wish I could give this place 10 STARS!! We found this smokehouse on Google after reading an article mentioning Michelin Guide and top 50 in Texas. We made the trip, arrived just after open at 11am and there was already a line - impressive! The food was OUTSTANDING! Come prepared to want to try everything on the menu and give them all of your hard earned dollars. We spent $140 for two people because we're from Michigan and there's nothin' like this at home, but it was worth every.single.penny! “The tamales are SO GOOD ugh I haven't had good tamales in years. These knock the store bought and the in laws' tamales out the park. They're nice and moist, not dry at all. The seasoning for the meat is great and it's a perfect ratio of masa and meat. They aren't ginormous but they aren't flat and tiny (I've had some paper thin ones before). I think they're a decent size, especially for the flavor and value ($30 for 2 dozen). Gotta try their barbacoa next time!“

“Always take your receipt , yesterday me and my hubby went there for lunch , we paid , I did a custom tip and didn’t take a receipt , well now today when checking my bank account my waitress took the liberty to tip herself an extra $15 but of course since I didn’t take the receipt I can’t dispute it , so if you’re gonna eat there always take your receipt but overall the food is good“

Make sure you order just the regular broth with the ramen 🍜 if it’s for your kids. If not it’s a bit spicy if you don’t. It’s very temp hot too. Ethan are server was pleasant and attentive. “Vacationing and saw this place on Google near where we were staying, had my heart set to get some the next morning. Wasn't hard to navigate there and back. Everything pictured plus a 2 liter of Big Red was $38 something, what a freaking steal! Where we're from this easily could have costed me $50-$60. Barbacoa was all meat, hardly any grease, tasted phenomenal. Came with corn tortillas which had a good toast and taste. The tamales were pork and tasted amazing (no ketchup needed). Will definitely be going back when we're back in town! Staff was friendly and kind. It's a place you grab and go, no sitting which is fine by us.“

“Such a caring and compassionate General Manager, I just spoke with Ipo and told her about my food allergies and she was so caring and accommodating and gave me a list of ingredients and alternatives that I could do and she said at the time of ordering let their manager know and they will cook my food off to the side to try and avoid cross contamination. And that they have designated fryers for their fries. Love love love restaurants that have compassion and care for their customers with food allergies!!!“

“This location near the base in Universal City TX is excellent. There's a green arrow turn for the left turn at Aviation Blvd with parking lot access by the drive thru. I had a large sweet tea and chopped beef sandwich for less than $5. AWESOME. TY❣“

“I had the plate with 3 chicken tenders, fries and a large iced tea for 8.95 plus tax. I opted to substitute their green beans for the fries, though.
The chicken was good. Their green beans are the best side they have, imo.
The front staff were friendly and got our orders right. The iced tea was great.
The floor in the ladies restroom had just been mopped and looked clean, however the toilet needed a good brushing for sure.“
