The Blue Pit Smokehouse is a new small restaurant next to Bluebonnet Palace. The location is appealing and you can smell wonderful bbq from the parking lot. Inside is pretty small but there are outdoor seatings and plenty of outdoor seating to relax. The food was absolutely delicious, especially their beans, and the portion size is bigger than you think it would be. The meal tasted great, a little more salty than most bbq, but it didn't ruin the meal. It is a must try and a great spot to make a return visit.
