The Purple Pig was recommended to me, and I recommend this outstanding BBQ eatery enthusiastically. The best pulled pork BBQ I've eaten has been in Tennessee. Nothing to compare. We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. We have been here a few times and are very pleased with this restaurant. The meats are well seasoned and portions are good for the price. This is the first BBQ place we have found where the “HOT” sauce, in fact, is. Long live The Purple Pig!!
Purple Pig catered our wedding rehearsal dinner on 04/17/2026! We had chopped and sliced brisket and smoked turkey with baked beans and potato salad along with their 3 different BBQ sauces. Our family and guests LOVED the food! Wedding planning feels like bleeding money left and right, so I was so pleased when I received the quote from them for 60 people and it was very reasonable!
